com.android.phone wakeups - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have 3267 wakeups in alarms in better battery stats.
I think that it is eating my battery. Any way to stop those wakeups?

No that's perfectly normal. I have the same too.

[Q] Vonage Wakelock?

Better Battery Stats: Alarms:
com.vonage.TimeToCall : 111 wakeups - is this normal? Should I be worried about this?
**edit* not sure if it completely stopped wakeups but I turned off auto start app, and I made sure to "exit" vonage.. So far its been a few and no wakeups.

Wakelock and poor battery

I am not getting very good battery performance so I started monitoring what was going on when I thought the tablet was sleeping. I am using GSam Pro to collect data. Out of 2 1/2 hours there was a keep awake for 2h 19m by system. Here are the details for that system wakelock:
Wakelock Detail: AuidioOut_2 2h 18m
Included Processes: *wakelock* mediaserver
Right now I am using Smoothrom with the latest franco kernel. This has not been an issue before. I don't know why it started doing this. Any ideas how I can stop the mediaserver process from doing this?

[Q] Wakelocks Issue

Anyone getting insanely high counts of nlpwakelocks and nlpcollector wakelock?
Also high wakelock time for UCCW Alarm Manager.
Seems to be draining the battery very badly.
On mine, nlpcollector wakelock is preventing Deep Sleep, it stays at 300MHz.
A reboot temporary fix it. Once I launch Map and enable location services, it stays at 300 until the next reboot.

[q] strange battery usage

How is this possibile? (mahdri ROM with HellsDoctor kernel)
Have you got halo/lockscreen notif pocket mode enabled? If yes, then that's not strange at all seeing how you don't use your phone much. Those features drains some battery life through systemui.
Does the notification system drain battery even if there isn't any notification?
Can be..because it's always running. And it had high percentage because none other things were using the battery much. If you use your phone more, then screen will definitely used more battery than systemui. I usually get 50-60% for screen. Systemui not much cause I am not using halo/pocket mode. But then, maybe you can try a clean flash. Could be a result of a bad flash too.

Thank you I solved this problem! I switched off the notification on lockscreen and now screen is about 40%.
But my battery life is always very bad... 1% for 1 minute onscreen. Do you think is a battery or a software issue?
Thanks in advance

Nice. Btw, lockscreen notif doesn't drain much. It's the pocket mode in lockscreen notif that is. Try to do a battery recalibration and install better battery stats to see what apps/things that are causing any wakelocks. It's the best way to troubleshoot battery problems.

I'm at 73% of battery and I have used the phone only for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or messages for a total of 37minutes.

Battery life horrible - Doze not working

My battery life is going from bad to worse. Doze doesn't ever seem to work. My phone is now down to 12 % and I have had a SOT of 21 minutes since the last Charge. I am rooted and have Greenify installed. GSam Battery is telling me that App usage is accounting for 86% of the battery usage with Kernel and Android System being the biggest battery eaters. How can I get doze to work again? Also I sometimes see that my Screen is not turning off on its own. Even hitting the power button won't turn off the Screen.
Doze stopped working for me from the time I updated to 6.0.1. But the phone does a last a day with normal usage.

Totally reset my phone and configured as new device.
Installed apps one by one and again 20% discharge overnight.
The phone seems to really go into sleep but I still get this constant discharge slope.

Have you changed wifi to 2.4GHz only?,
I don't know if WiFi has been fixed
I had android backup bug from resets and clean flash
I had to clean cache and delete google data related stuff couple of times,
I ended up pausing a lot of the services to reduce googles permission
My router has 2.4 only anyway but I'll try...
What is this issue about?
In any case I tried submitting bug report to online battery historian tool and it shows googlequicksearchbox as top app.
