[Q] Battery drain with turned off phone [2 different batteries] - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hi guys,
I have an S5360 with the original Samsung ROM and recently the battery drain fast, even with the phone turned off. I've bought a new battery, thinking is that the problem, but with this new battery the smartphone still drain turned off.
There is something I can do to check what is the problem? Is the problem in the hardware?
Thanks!

Clear battery status via CWM recovery. If the problem still exists, flash your region's stock ROM via ODIN.

[Q] SM-N9005 restarting/vibrating while charging

I recently switched to a Note 3 from Note 2. I was going to do the initial charging when i noticed that my phone kept restarting and vibrating whilst charging. I tried a different charger (Note2) to check if it was just the cable that's problematic. However, the following day, my phone again restarted while charging. I dunno what's wrong. Whenever i charge my phone, the prompt for turning off/restarting/flight mode would appear. Please help. I've been a big Samsung fan and glitches like this make me want to switch. Thanks guys!
Could be a problem with the kernel, just a guess.
Have you tried flashing another kernel or reflash a stock rom.

Could it also be because of the update? I bought my N3 and it was still on Jellybean. I updated to 4.4.2 and now it keeps restarting/vibrating while charging. Should i return the phone?
Don't root or flash kernel when u have doubt on hardware, clear catch & data from recovery, if problem not solved take it to service center under warranty.

[Q] Weird Battery Problem! U8800 Pro

Hi,
The problem is that the phone always stays at 0% charging. The phone immediately shutdown if disconnected from the charger. And, it doesn't boot up without charger. The weirdness is that the TWRP Recovery works just fine even without the charger. I got the battery replaced with a brand new one. So, its clearly not a problem with the battery itself. I am on KitKat 4.4.4 Rom. Should i try to install official rom? Any guess what it could be?
Thanks!
It seems you are on a custom ROM. Have you tried other custom ROM? If other custom ROM loads that means your ROM is too big for your phone, and you need to set your phone to increase the ROM space for ROM

[Q] battery recharging by itself

When i use my Galaxy S4 i9505 and the screen is on it is discharging normaly, but when the screen is off and the device is idle it goes up by 2-3% sometimes even more. After that when i use it again it is still discharging normaly (it does not drop the 3% right away). It does that on stock rom and any other custom roms and kernels i had. I had attached a screenshot with this behavior.
Does anybody know why this is happening?

1. I think is the mod u are using for change the battery icon and the custom ROM.
2. COUNCIL: Flash Stock ROM (without mods) and replace the battery if happens again.
I have the same problem and I'm on stock ROM...

Android System Battery Draining

Hi all
I'm kinda frustrated and this is my story.
I have Edge + for less than an month (this is my firs Samsung device). I feel pretty familiar with the rooting and other installation, so after I got this device I installed PhilZ Recovery and the Arter kernel.
The device was kinda laggy and after I've tried to restart the device it stock on FRP lock and I flashed the original firmware and decided to let it chance. After that no matter what I did including reflashing
the original firmware, Android System keeps draining the battery, in one night it lose 30% with doing nothing (I guess it is some deep sleep bug). It's like CPU works half of the time while the device is turned on
(with or without Screen is ON).
My question is why actually this happen? Is it common issue with the original firmware? What can I do?
All advises will be welcomed.
Thanks!

I would suggest finding the stock firmware and kernel and re flashing both clean. I have the Edge+ international version and I also rooted and flashed the Arter kernel... But i do not have deep sleep issues. I will loose probably 2-3% battery over night with sync and Wi-Fi off.

That exactly what I did I flashed (even a few times) the original kernel and ROM via Odin but the issue is still there.
2-3% per night it's nothing comparing to my 30% So I guess you don't have any deep sleep issue

Hey. Yeah G3 is the best in deep sleep case. no drainage for a day for 6 days just %1,, but too much drainage while using tho
I'm not sure if my problem is the same as yours. But my phone was facing the same battery issue on stock firmware. I turn off everything, even with flight mode on, the battery drain was like 30-40% overnight.
After I installed gsam battery monitor, I found out that the android system was the main culprit. The android system drain amount was like 7-10 times to kernel (android os), and the apps also showed that my phone was kept awake all the time. No matter what firmware I used, the problem still persists. Fortunately, the problem was then solved when I installed arter97 kernel, or any kernels other than the stock one.

Is your device rooted? Than just format your phone from twrp n flash stock rom or custom rom ... U can find your device stock rom from https://www.stockrom.net/ .. there are alternative sites
if it gets randomly shut down without shutdown dialogue box..so it have the problem with the battery...u need to replace battery with the original battery... don't use genric battery otherwise you will get less battery backup.

No it says nothing. it shutdown randomly.
it is a hardware problem....you need to replace the battery.... temporarily you can silent the phone and turn off its vibration to get rid of it....but this problem can occur again but by doing this it will surely decrease...

That's battery problem then bro
yeah....Moto Care may ask you to examine your phone... don't let them examine that..because they will only flash stock images and charge you money...they may also tell you that this is the problem of the motherboard....but that is not true....well one thing I wanna ask that..how much time it is taking in recharging with turbo charger and how much backup it is giving....
