So, I have was flashing TWRP recovery, everything went fine, restarted the tablet and it is stuck in the boot loop.... Then I looked into then computer and I saw i have flashed the oldest version of TWRP for ICS (and i had JB bootloader)... Now It is stuck in a boot loop and i cant even acces fastboot... I am gonna leave it like this to let it drain the battery and hope i can turn it on by holding the power + VOL - button. I am such a dic*head.... Is it recoverable? Please say it is, It was an expensive tablet and i dont wanna lose it.
EDIT: Battery drained, charged again, tried turning on with - VOLUME pressed and I just cant get to fastboot...
Please help me

Hi guys,
Was trying to remove the branded rom that came with the phone, neither method of updating worked so i flashed via fastboot the boot, recovery, cust and system images, everything ok the first time, afterwards i tried a different rom and the phone got stuck at the bootlogo, coudn't turn it off, do nothing, left it and i went to sleep, of course the battery died.
Now the phone led is always blinking red no matter how much time i leave charging or connected to pc and can't enter fastboot mode or recovery or update 3 buttons..?
Any ideas? Is it completly dead?
PS: Later was able to turn it off and now it turned itself on (because its connected to charger) and the led isn't blinking anymore, still stuck on bootlogo and nothing happens...

Hi,you can try what i post here it might work
If you cannot get into fastboot or recovery, try connect it via USB to a PC, then hold volume + power up, release power up when it turns on but keep holding vol up.

Already tried every sinlge thing/combination, can't get past the boot logo, or seem to charge up the phone, red led always blinking.
Will try to open phone tomorrow disconnect the battery and connect again and try to enter bootloader to flash the 4 .img and get back in business.
Hey! It seems like that you hard bricked your device! Is your P8Lite still under warrenty? Rooting IS allowed in the Huawei warrenty! If you dont have warrenty, Ask some proffesionals.
Have a nice day!
P.S: Im living in Germany. Thats why my english is so bad.
So, I rooted and tried flashing the stock ROM (from Sammobile, same country, same exact model [SM-G950F], I already had the stock ROM and had never flashed anything else to the phone other than root, June security update, my phone had July's) to see if I could fix a problem that couldn't be fixed with any other method I had tried.
Everything in Odin seemed to go well, I got the PASS green box at the end. But then the phone couldn't go pass the Samsung logo when booting up. I left it quite a few minutes, before trying to boot into recovery mode and wiping data. Only to realize that I couldn't boot into recovery mode. In fact, I can't even turn the phone off. No combination of hardware keys works other than power button + bixby + vol down, to get into download mode. But that's of no use, because when I plug my phone into my PC (with the same cable and port I used before to root and flash the firmware into it) it is not recognized by Odin or the PC.
It just has the Samsung logo flashing slowly over and over because I can't turn the device off. By the time the battery dies out I'll most likely have the logo burnt into the display.
I also haven't been able to find any help online. Everyone's suggestion is “boot into recovery and wipe data”, but I can't do that.
Is my phone gone for good?
Hi guys,
After googling it I tried booting it in recovery and fastboot mode but none of them work, when I try to boot in those 2 modes I get a screen with "recovery mode" written for 5 secs then it goes back to the normal boot screen and then turns off and starts to bootloop again the only way I could stop it from boot looping was by pressing the power button + the + and - buttons, so yeah if you guys have any idea how I could fix this or how I could recuperate my data please help, also it started bootlooping during the night while it was charging it was very hot when I took it, last thing when I try to go and charge it there is not indicator that it's charging.
Thanks in advance for your help !
much love
Mathias.
Kind of the same issue here.
Yesterday, I was using my phone while it was charging (low battery), and suddenly : freeze then power off and stuck into a bootloop.
It did it all the night until no battery, now when I plug it the charging Led is not lighting, and stuck in a bootloop.
Tried to flash TWRP vi fastboot mode : success but impossible to boot into recovery mode, as you described.
Affraid of the battery has died...
Flashed wrong orange state zip
Same to mine, my device was x651 and i flashed an orange state zip file intended for le 2 x620 without wipe and after flashing it from recovery , I rebooted the device, now its powering on and off on a dead screen and only long vibrates, how can we fix this? Please help
Not sure if this will help, but I ended up with a perpetual boot loop on the phone and wrote it off as broken and got a new one....a year later, I plugged it in to see if it would even power on so I could trade it in and VOILA, it boots up! What the hell? So my suggestion is maybe to let the battery run ALL the way down and then a long charge first.
I was recently flashing what I thought was a newer version of TWRP for my SM-T510, but now I realize that I probably flashed an incompatible image. Everything went fine for a couple of days until I needed to boot into TWRP again, the first time I've done this since I flashed it a couple of days ago. Upon rebooting, I got as far as the unlocked bootloader warning screen, pressed the power button to pass it, and it immediately rebooted and started the process again. This time I skipped pressing power and chose to wait out the warning, and it rebooted again. Leaving the tablet alone, it just goes through this bootloop cycle continuously.
I've tried holding the power + vol combo to get into download mode but it just causes the tablet to skip the unlocked bootloader warning and reboot again. I've also tried letting it loop overnight to drain the battery and try again in the morning to no success. The tablet only begins the bootloop process all over again as soon as it is plugged in.
Is there anything I can still do to get it out of this bootloop?
I have the same problem and I've just solved it. Holding down both volume up & volume down at the same time, and plugging it in puts the device into download mode.
ok guys i know there are loads of threads about thois but ive got a slightly differen situation.
my daughter had this phone and then it suddenly tured off and wouldn't turn back on, i managed to get it to boot by disconnecting the battery and plugging it while holding the power down and reconnecting the battery which put me into fastboot then the boot to edl script made the phone boot. i have since unlocked the bootloader and flashed twrp and the reflashed the stock firmware which worked for a few hours but i tried to reboot it and now it wont boot, i can get to twrp but even if i flash the stock firmware it refuses to boot any idea on what i should do to try to get this phone to boot up?
Try to flash a custom rom, as far as i know this problem is caused by a MIUI update.

i have tried to flash a couple but every time i try it fails with error 7 and tried the normal fix but it doesnt help. then anything i do in twrp makes the system unmount and then it cant mount again. the only eay to get to get it to boot again is to take the back off and disconnect the battery and hold the power button down when i reconnect it but ive got no idea why it does this.
