For some reason I cannot get my Nexus 10 to completely boot. When I try to turn it on it progresses to the boot animation but just stalls there forever. I've booted into recovery and tried wiping, restoring, and flashing new roms but not matter what I try I am still unable to boot up 100%. I then tried to use the Nexus Toolkit to flash back to stock and start over but the toolkit was unable to communicate with my nexus.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi,
No worries, it's just a bootloop. Please try wiping system before flashing another ROM and if it doesn't work, then please check the Manta Help Thread first posts to check on how to manually flashing a Stock ROM .
Good luck

Anyways, if you still want CM7; wipe all data/factory reset and don't flash CM7 once, but twice
Always works for me. If not, boot it up (even if its stuck at the loading screen) and then turn it off and flash CM7 again without wiping.

hi guys .. i have HTC Desire HD it was working very well on version 2.3.3 then i decide to downgrade it to 2.2 so i can get root + recovery by following this guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152233&highlight=downgrade
i followed the instruction EXACTLY as it was posted after i get to bootloader and i made the update the phone restart and died for almost 5 mints then it switched on HTC logo and keeps vibrating for 2 mints then it works normally .
each time i switch it off it needs 5 mints to turn on after that it keep vibrating as i have said even i cant go to bootloader mode (by pressing volume down + power ) but only with terminal command or by using Ultimate Multi Tool .
by the way :- my phone is 2.2 + S-Off + recovery .
Install rom manager and flash recovery again. Then try and flash a new rom.

I think the problem is that you are using stupid fonts on the forum haha
Erm, try and use a full wipe script, look in the Android Revolution thread.
Probably a corrupt bootloader, maybe try flashing it again?

no need to use those words man ,,, i tried full wipe by using this FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_.zip
wipe it, Reflash and maybe re-root!
re
Just the bootloader...
I had a similar problem when I tried to root and flash ROM's on to mine.
In the end I started the whole process again. I went right back to the beginning as if my phone wasn't rooted. It seemed to work, I don't know but maybe first time round I made a stupid mistake and was a little more careful on my second run.
Anyway, I would suggest re-rooting your phone, then flashing a ROM again. I know it's long but sometimes it's the only way!
Good luck!
To op.
I would recomend using ROM Manager from market, and from there, flash Clockwork Recovery (CWM).
I don't know what recovery or what rom you have tried, but i could point you in the direction of a CM7 rom (Cyanogenmod) or something like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040 . That might do the trick..
Hey Guys,
Nexus S the phone which I love the most and I do own this one from a long time.
Please read the whole thing don't ignore as it's toooo big.
Straight away to my issue. Thing is I've unlocked boot loader, rooted and I was using CM9 MOD. Everything was going fine. And i saw Cyber GR-MOD with more customization in the forums, I also flashed Cyber GR-MOD. Every thing was again fine with the Cyber GR, but I was facing few bugs in it. I was often wiping the data/doing factory reset. I was bored with Cyber GR. Then I saw ROM MIUI based on CM9 build with IMM76D. I was really attracted by UI of the MIUI ROM. I decided the flash that ROM. Before finding the MIUI ROM I was facing some problem with the Recovery. I was often getting error E:\ can't mount SD Card and the phone doesn't boot up. I did solve it by locking and unlocking the bootloader. Even after doing that I was facing that issue. Some how i managed to get into the recovery and flashed the MIUI Rom. After flashing i rebooted the device and the thing is i ain't get MIUI boot logo. I was getting CM9 Boot logo and the phone boots up with the Setup wizard sometime along with that i get pop ups for all the apps in the system getting forced closed or it won't boot up, it just keep loading with the CM9 logo. And am not able to use any of the ROM. Again now am stuck in that f***king [don't mind this ] E:\ Can't mount SD Card and when i tried to lock and unlock my bootloader, It did get locked successfully but when I tried to unlock it. It freezes in the Unlock bootloader menu. And am not even able to restore the phone or install a custom ROM coz of the error which i mentioned above. What eva ROM I install the only things it always boots up with CM9.
Please give me a permanent solution for that E:\ Can't mount SD card and to get my handset back with a new MIUI ROM
Please help me out guys. My dad will screw me up if he comes to know that my phone is bricked. LOL!! but this is the fact
U can force ur phone into recovery using cmd in windows.search in google how to do it.
I forget the command
After get into cwm u can wipe data.cache.dalvik and try flash stock rom.
Good luck
This made me lol.
I've seen a link with a probable fix for it but I'm on my phone and can't find it.

Yeah, give this a try. Nowadays, even if you aren't on a linux OS, you can set that up in maybe less than 30 minutes.
All the best, hope you can de-brick your phone.
I'll try and post the report.
How did it go?

How did it go? I'm curious, because I'm presently on CM9 nightlies (which is already 4.0.4 based), but am thinking of flashing the stock ICS 4.0.4 just for a look at it. But... don't want to brick out.
Please help!!
Followed all the steps.
But while resurrecting the device am getting error as SBL Injection Failure.
I don't know what to do.
This is probably the most generic header, but anyway.
I dun goofed hardways and being the impatient self i am, i saw that someone was talking about have cm 10.1 on their device so i went to the website and downloaded it with reading the name, nek minut can boot past boot logo. i have tried clear delvik cache and all that stuff. even tried put on new rom on but still no luck. im going to give a stock rom a go but if there is anything else people can suggest i do that would help alot c:
EDIT: New problem now, i flashed it with odin and the necessary rom, now it gets stuck on the samsung screen.

Since you tried clearing and rebooting and it didn't work then I would just find the Stock Odin firmware package and flash back to stock and start over.
If you need help finding the right one let me know

I have been attempting to install the SAC rom, but everytime i finish selecting the rom options i would like and the phone resets it gets stuck perpetually on the boot animation. I have tried turning it off and on again, reinstalling, wiping my phone 10x before installing but nothing i do can seem to fix this problem. Any suggestions or solutions? Thanks

Once you get stuck does going back into recovery and wiping dalv/cache fix your problem? Try flashing a new kernel? Or how long are you waiting for it to boot? New flashes can take up to 2 mins to rebuild system /data?

Hey so, i tried wiping the dalc/cache and it didnt help. Loading the stock kernel does solve the problem but it kind of defeats the purpose because one of the highlights of the rom is the custom kernel. I have let the phone stay on the boot load animation for 30 min and its just stuck there. Any other suggestions? Thanks
