I moved from Chile to the USA, and I couldn't SIM unlock my Galaxy S4 that I bought in Chile (GT-I9505), so I went to T-Mobile and bought a S4 there.
Is there any difference between them, other than broadband?
Like, if I'm running CyanogenMod on my 9505, can I just do a backup and restore it on the T-Mobile phone?
Thanks in advance.

You can also go to Settings > More > About Device and check the Model number.
GT-I9500 (international without LTE)
GT-I9505/GT-I9506 (international with LTE)
SGH-I337 (AT&T Galaxy S4)
SGH-M919 (T-Mobile, MetroPCS Galaxy S4)
SCH-I545 (Verizon Galaxy S4)
SPH-L720 (Sprint Galaxy S4)
SCH-R970 (U.S. Cellular Galaxy S4)
There are much more models of S4 and if your model is not listed here, you can check it out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S4#Model_variants
Just cannot find where to buy a Galaxy S5 32GB, the only offer is from Korea but that does not work with T-Mo 45-LTE. The phone must be unlocked. Please advise
I am wondering if I purchase an ATT S4 or S5 will it work with Rogers SIM or do I have additional problems?
Hi
So I am about to purchase an S5 for my prepaid verizon account. I am trying to figure out if there are any disadvantages to using the Factory unlocked version G900V vs the Verizon branded version. I cant find any info on differences, but am I missing anything that is obvious?
Brand new Verizon - $309
Brand New Unlocked- $269
I would just assume save 40 bucks unless there is something different.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Check the models of the S5s, Verizon lock their bootloaders
(International G900F for example is unlocked)
The unlocked model says
Samsung Galaxy S5 G900V 16GB Unlocked GSM
The other is the verizon branded
