Restore a backup made while on an 800 rom or flash a Tom through recovery made for the 800. You could also use an app like rom toolbox to edit the build prop to read D800.

Are you using a D802 stock ROM to flash your phone back?
Where did you get your stock ROM from?

Try to adb sideload a ROM for the D800 (CleanROM is pretty close to stock without all the bloatware).
I have the same problem and have not been able to resolve it. Any update on how your problem was fixed?
HELP!!!!!!!
we have basically the same problem, except i flashed a L01f rom instead of d802. I am stuck in download mode(no recovery or fastboot or adb & will not boot rom). When i try to flash back to stock it says wrong model( i have the d800 and am using the d800 dll & tot file). My device is coming up as an L01f on lg flash tool and download mode.... someone help it is a d800 att.
Try using the .dll found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2473543&d=1387955530
Just flash your phone like you normally would, except you use the .dll linked above instead. Apparently the DLL linked above is a general LG G2 DLL that works for all models.
Note: When I flashed my phone, LG FlashTool gave me an error at the end of the flash process, but the flash was still successful.
Hello everybody
I've tried to flash CM11 on my device (LS980) but i'm getting into a bootloop everytime i try to.
I downloaded the latest nightly version from their site and tried to flash it using TWRP after i wiped, but i'm just getting into bootloop with LG logo flashing on and on.
Already restored from a backup but i still want to install the CM11 on my device, does anybody have a solution for that?
Thanks

Hello[emoji4], this same issue happened to me too, you'll have to flash the ZV8 Modem for the LS980, here's a link to help you.[emoji4]

No Problem[emoji4][emoji4], glad it worked for you[emoji4][emoji4]
Quick Reminder: if you ever miss the LG Stock Rom and want to go back to that Rom, make sure to restore your backup in recovery mode, and also be sure to flash the ZVC Modem after restoring your backup, or else you'll be stuck in a frozen Sprint Spark Logo.[emoji106][emoji4]

Brother The main problem was that i rooted my device and installed custom rom lg g3 cloudy using twrp project auto recovery but after that when i did try to recover my nandroid backup of kitkat my g2 stucked at boot loop ...when i asked the experts at shop ,they told me that once we root the mobile we cannot recover data again but can overwrite new rom. Because rooting destroys recovery file..I dont know if he was right or not..

Hey
I want some info about upgrading to lollipop can cause any damage to Lg g2.?
Can i update LG g2 To lollipop D80230d?
Any issue to update on refurbished LG g2 D802 International version.
Thank you
You need to get into download mode. Keep trying until you get there.. it takes patience sometimes.
Then use TOT method. Sometimes kdz gives these issues.

I was also unable to flash lollipop to my D802 .. it always gives error on 2% and I am unable to fix it ... so i guess I will wait for OTA update

I tried hard to flash boot and laf using fastboot mod but failed.
Is there any difference between korean version and other version for software issues.?
After a few days of struggle, I can't even remember which methods I tried with no luck...
Here's the thing:
1) Stuck at 2% flashing KDZ with flash tool ( can't go back to stock )
2) Entering download mode but cdc serial failed ( I think that's the reason I can't flash KDZ through flash tool )
3) Entering TWRP bumped recovery ( v2.8.6.3. ), but don't work adb sideload/push ( adb devices shows nothing )
4) I'm currently on CLOUDY 3.3 and it runs fine, tried to flash other roms, works fine
Right now, I can't describe how I got stuck in this situation ( with all the methods I tried, all drivers changed )...
Can someone help with this situation?
You cant flash KDZ if you on Cloudy 3.3 or AOSP 5.1.1 (don't know why, don't ask)
I had 2% happen to me too.....probably cant find COM port
Try flashing JB bootloader then a KK rom, then try KDZ

2% error mostly is due to different rom version.
Install LG drivers again and check.
Change PC/Laptop.
Use TOT method.

I had bootloop too but was able to flash KDZ
Enter TWRP using power + vol combo
Shut down phone through TWRP option
Volume up + plug in USB
It should be able to flash KDZ now
