Hi All,
Has anyone purchased the following extended (4500 mAh) battery from MPJ?
http://www.mpjbattery.com/mpj-4500m...sung-galaxy-note-iii-3-n7200-n9000-n9005.html
Should I be concerned if this will work with our beloved phablet (Model # SM-900V) or not?
Since the website above didn't specifically spell this out, I'm a little hesitant to make the purchase, but, for the most part, I'm sure it will work with our phone. i'm also assuming it is exactly the same size as the original STOCK Samsung battery that came with our phones so I needn't worry about an extended battery cover as well.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance, folks!
Man I wouldn't buy that junk. The stock battery on this bad boy does phenomenal. The only after market battery I've used is Zerolemon. Those were some great batteries. They had one for the s4 that fit in the phone with the OE battery cover and was an extra 2 or 3 hundred mah since they didn't put nfc support in the battery. They also have that big 10,000 mah battery that turns the phone into a brick.
Thanks HarleyDroid,
'preciate the feedback.

Hi all
Im wanting to buy a replacement Battery for my S4 I9505 and after being on eBay, there are so many different brands all offering high capacity batteries and battery dock combos.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_t...ery&_nkw=galaxy+s4+battery&_sacat=0&_from=R40
The question Im asking is:
Are there any of these batteries I should avoid that could damage the phone?.
What are the tell tale signs on a battery that say to be aware of?
Thanks.
There is no damage but I think the best battery is anker
If you use nfc make sure the battery supports it as I bought 1 & didn't realise til I tried nfc then phone wouldn't work correctly til I used a compatible battery
Hi. I'm new here but not new with Android and S5.
I am wondering if anyone else tried to measure the Bundled S5 charger performance. Anyone?
I got my S5 on the first day it was available locally. Then I tried to measure its charging and was surprised to see that the voltage was much higher than usb specs. I am wondering if it is still safe to use 5.6-5.7V charging mobile phones. I think 5.3v is still on the safe side, but I think 5.6v is stretching too much. I'm guessing Samsung used 5.3v to hasten charging a little bit (A x V = W), but was also surprised that S5 saps only 1.75A even though the bundled charger is rated as 2A @ 5.3v.
I know that the charger should output less than 5.3v when a device is attached because of the power load. But it seems that is not the case.
I haven't used my S5 charger frequently, I still often use my S3 charger and my powerbank which are only giving out 5v.
I am asking here first before I go to Samsung Store and try to have it replaced. I don't want to waste effort going there if all S5 chargers are the same anyway.
I am unable to directly post links, so please see the attached image and the youtube video with the video ID.

Hello,
My brother's galaxy s4 i9505 need a new charger because its original charger broke. So i did some searching on the internet, and found out that i9505 support qualcomm quick charge 1.0, and also found a charger which support quick charge ( EP-TA20ewe ), but the problem is that if the EP-TA20ewe charger is a quick charge 1.0 charger or 2.0 charger. Even if the charger supports quick charge 2.0 is it possible for my brother to charge his phone with the charger?, that seems logical for it to support, but i dont know if EP-TA20ewe is for note 3 or note 4 or s3 or s3 , i dont know for which mobile phone model samsung has designed for.
Can you guys please help me find the original samsung charger for samsung galaxy s4 i9505 which supports qualcomm quick charge 1.0 for EUROPE , and i would like it to support 2.0 if it can charge s4 without any heat problem etc.
Thanks
I dont know if i posted this post at a right place, sorry for that
Amazon for your country should have them. I just went to amazon.co.uk and searched for Galaxy S4 charger. The first two hits were for chargers. There may be more in the 144,000+ results.
Failing that, call Samsung. They should be able to sell you a charger.
Hello ,
I know that we can use S3 battery in S4, but I'm a bit confused on is it safe to charge s3 battery in s4 ?
I read on some forum that charging s3 battery in s4 would overcharge the battery.
If any one here have tried this or have any information about it than please share.
Thanks.
Bump
I think it should be fine. The phone should be able to detect the size of the battery and what percentage it is at fine. The custom batteries that have around 4k mAh work fine so I don't think it will be any different for smaller batteries
