Hello. I'm using PA 4.42 and I want to change the color of the Nav bar and buttons or at least put a black background (I don't want this transparent look).. Is it possible?
Yes it is possible. Therefor you need root, xposed framework and the tinted statusbar module. I am not sure if you can have a solid statusbar by a launcher, but try nova launcher though

It should be on any launcher because there is an option in Tinted Statusbar to ignore KK transparency stuff under Settings.
Using Nova Launcher, it works fine for me :good:

i'm running the latest AOKP nightly and apex launcher. i'd like to get rid of the shadow/gradient just above the navigation bar. apex has an option under the homescreen section that says "hide shadows at the top and bottom of the screen", but that doesn't do anything. the shadow also seems to be there in the stock launcher. any thoughts?

You sure its not just part of your wallpaper?
no. every wallpaper. i adjusted the status and nav bar transparency to 0% as well, and you can see the difference easily between what's behind the nav buttons and just above the buttons.
EDIT: Turns out it was the dock background of the Apex theme i was using.
IWhat's the best way to manage the tile sizes and the 4x4 on the z2?

Root device and use Xposed module - GEM -
You hide icons, change drawer and desktop nr of rows and columns, size of icons and many more things on stock Xperia launcher.

Nova Launcher offers this feature. So does Apex.
Hey guys? Does any one know, how to change bars background without xposed? I would like to get something like on xperia kitkat, or even just semi transparent solid background. I am not using xposed, because I'm on ART

You could install the Google Now Launcher. It makes the nav bar and the status bar translucent.
I know how to turn it on. I want to change this gradient.
That's how it looks on xperia kitkat

I'm currently rooted on PG1 with Xposed. Are there any methods to remove the AM/PM next to the clock in the status bar? It's a huge eyesore for me. I tried a bunch of Samsung-related modules (XTouchWiz, Wanam Xposed, etc.) and GravityBox MM, but none of them would do the trick. Is there a build.prop edit I could do? Thanks in advance.
The Xposed module Flat Style Bar Indicators is the way to go. It allows you to customise every aspect of your status bar. I've been using it for over a year with no issues.

An example of what I've done with it but the possibilities are endless.
The XBlastTools for me is working
But you don't have in settings/date_time change 12 for 24hs??

There is no need to be rooted for that. Just select in the settings the clock format to 24hr then it does not display am/pm. See the attached screenshot.
I have emui 8.0.0.
I used two themes before, one of them only for its icons, and it didn't affect the app drawer icon nor widgets.
I customized the icons in the Theme app by adding a pink border, it also makes all the icons round.

Recently I tried messing around a bit and editing the themes that I have with hwtTool.
Now it seems like it's impossible to have both the icons I want from A theme, and the app drawer icon from B theme.
Any way to fix this?
From my understanding, the icons shouldn't affect the App drawer, because the App drawer uses the file in com.huawei.android.launcher and not the icons file.
