Hello guys,
after updating my N7 (32gb WiFi) to Android 4.2.2, the battery life has drasticly decreased.
After 2 hours of display on time, only 66% left. WiFi was always on, I browsed the internet and watched a few videos with Youtube.
The strange part is, that 75% of the battery usage is because of Android-System.
Any solutions for this?
Thanks

i guess flashing a custom kernel will help. Right now I'm also running the latest update and it's been 35 mins of screen time at 90% battery level. When I was in 4.2.1, the battery life was much better and it didnt drain as much. I always liked stock because it gave me a much better battery life than custom kernels. I guess I'm going back if this continues.
Used to love the long battery life on my G900F running KitKat. Yesterday I upgraded to Lollipop via Kies and my battery only lasts about 6 hours with the same usage as before. Any help?

let ur battery atleast calibrate by draining it properly till it dies and charge it completely...Do atleast 2 Cycles and see that change
Can users with 910C tell us what is the battery life on that model?
I was on 5.0.1 stock PDA N910CXXU1BOC3 and CSC N910COXX1BOC1, battery life was terrible, after that i downgrade to 4.4.4 stock PDA N910CXXU1ANK5 and CSC N910COXX1ANK2, i made a full calibration after.
My screen time in 22 hours is 2h and 30m, 37% battery left. Rest was idle. It is so, so little. In standby i got 0-1% in 10h, so idle standby is very good. Band was set on GSM only, all sensors deactivated.
Any advices? What are your times gentlemans on SM-N910C model?

I'm on 5.0.1 BOC3 and every day I have WiFi and Bluetooth on all day, screen at just under 25% brightness (unless outdoors). I regularly get 6 hours SoT, but usually finish the day with 4-5 hours SoT and about 20% battery left. Today so far the phone has been on 4 hours with SoT of 1 hour and I have 89% battery left. Did you do a factory reset before/after moving to Lollipop? Coming from an N7000 I've been very pleased with the battery life on the N910C.

try greenify, it improved it a lot! (from 2hours to 3.5hours)
I have Greenify installed, but honestly don't find I need to use it much. I have automatic hibernation turned off, and just hit the widget now and again when I feel the need to close some persistent apps. (I am not rooted).

Pff. Thats splendid. Mine goes 1% every 1-2 minutes when im use it. I tryed 3-4 roms, different base, LL and KK too. Same battery life. In standby is very good. Its drops when i use phone. I charged 3 h and 50 mins ago. Now i have 79% with 55 mins of screen. I belive it is very weak. On this percentage i will get 3 h of screen
Sounds like maybe some app you have installed is causing problems, or could be a problem with your battery. Have a read through some of the other threads on battery life for tips and possible solutions.

note 4 low battery drastically drains
Hi. Ive been noticing some anomaly on my galaxy note 4(sm-n910c/lollipop) battery. When it goes down to about 20%, it starts to drastically drain itself. So rapid like 1% per 10sec. Maybe there's someone out there who encountered the same problem or knows the fix. Advanced thanks
No Samsung Again
I have the same problems.
I made a factory reset but the issue didnt solve.
Samsung should be shame and we should stop buying Samsung.
I have a note 3 n9005 , official uk android 4.4.2 but my battery is draining to fast... in just 1h 30 mins from 100%. I have a s5 4.4.2 android and in 1h 30 mins still have 88%, same running fb and stuff. Can anyone help me ?
This is a test with an app. Should I buy a new battery ?
Try something like the GSM Battery monitor and see what apps are draining your battery .
Anker do a good replacement battery .
@ snaketk consider replacing a new battery cause this cant be a total issue or kernel or ROM
Thank you for your help guys
