This will be incompatible with any and all AOSP/Stock Nexus ROMs because it is dependent on TW frameworks and unless those are ported, this won't work at all with this device, sorry to burst your bubble but it's only for TW devices

Hi, I've been wondering if once Samsung deploys TouchWiz for the tab 10.1, it could be ported as an apk that iconia users can install. I know there is a forum with a modified ROM with this already incorporated, but I would like to know if having TW could be possible on a stock ROM (probably with root access). Thanks in advance
NO!
The TouchWiz interface is integrated into the Android framework and can't be copied like an ordinary apk file! You need the full ported rom!

thanks for the clear explanation; too bad it cannot be incorporated that easily.
Hi,
Is it possible to port galaxy s i9000 stock samsung keyboard to an ICS custom rom?
Thank you for any idea
I would really like that too!
i want too plz somebody let us to do
I think the framework for Samsung touchwiz needs to be ported for it to work. I'm sure some devs have tried this and I've always wanted it (mainly for the 3x4 keyboard) but I don't know if any have had any success
The Samsung stock keyboard is my favorite keyboard as well. I'm currently using the Dark Knight 3 ICS Rom and this keyboard is not available as an option. As an alternative, I am using Smart Keyboard Pro, which has several keyboard themes, including the samsung keyboard.
US Galaxy S3 received 4.1.2 update, but still no Multi View.
Team Synergy created a hybrid framework to have multiview working (and it works well, as international Galaxy S3 ).
Here we have the multiview addon for 4.1.2 MB1 Touchwiz roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39033397
This addon works on Sprint and Verizon deodexed MB1 roms.
Maybe decompiling the hybrid framework and comparing it with the original version we can port the same hybrid framework also to Galaxy Tab 2.
Here i link you some 4.1.2 MB1 with the original framework, to compare with the hybrid framework:

It is a hard work... but if some devs put their efforts together... who knows...
I hope that draws the attention of developers
I hope too

We know, of course, the original android is cool, and the CyanogenMod (or AOSPA, AOKP) is very cool. We can't have some features of Galaxy S4 (Touchwiz) in CM12. For exempla the camera, toolbox, USPM (S5 feature ported to S4 in some roms), Mult-windows and more. Is possible port these features for CM12 ?
Sorry for my bad english :cyclops:
I read that you could put custom ROMs on a CID 11 Verizon Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) as long as they were TouchWiz based. If this is true, how do I locate said ROMs? Thanks!
Look in the roms section.
