I got the exact same issue.. but I´m still on the stock 4.4.2 rom. Have you found a solution yet? or have you switched to another recovery?
Try using PhilZ Touch recovery instead, after flashing PhilZ from TWRP...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2554053
After flashing PhilZ, use the Reboot Recovery option in TWRP to boot to PhilZ.

Had recently a quite similar experience. It appeared that TWRP stumbled on the content of the cache partition. After reformating this partition TWRP was able to backup.

I installed TWRP using the AutoRec application which downgrades the bootloader. do you think that could be a problem when flashing another recovery? sorry if I´m overcautious and thanks in advance

hi guys,
my find 5 was having some reboot issues (it was rebooting a few times per day) and that was a bit anoying. I was using an old original FW so i decided to update to a newer one. Heard good stuff about the Omni so i went for that, so i was using TWRP 2.4.1.0 (i think... i'm sure it was 2.4.x) and on the omni page they said we have to use TWRP 2.6 so i went for an update.
here, i think, i've created my problem. I used the new flashify app to install the TWRP but instead of choose recovery img i choosed to flash the boot and i guess i'd flashed the TWRP on the boot.
well anyaway, now i'd installed the TWRP 2.6.3.1 i manage to start the phone in fastboot and recovery all good here, i install every rom nice and easy over TWRP but the phone simply doesn't start, it gets stuck on Touchscreen Firmware Update please wait.... this happens ALWAYS with what version of TWRP or even if i install CWM...
my guess is that i'd messed up some partition or so i don't really know what but i'd tried to format every partition that TWRP let me and still getting the freackin Touchscreen Frim updt screen... so need some Pro help to help me undo the mistake i'd done...
thanks for everything
On the official Oppo forum's there's a guide on how to install the latest Omnirom. Under known issues it says:
5)After installing the TWRP recovery the Screen Touch firmware update goes on for more than 5-7 minutes, do a hard reboot and you would be fine,

I haven't tried it myself since I didn't get the problem when flashing Omni and Asylum, but it seems to be worth a shot.
In case you are looking for the topic, search for "How to Install OmniRom 4.4".
While trying ti install CM 11 from TWRP i managed to brick the phone. I dont want to waste time sharing the details unless it's need to solve the problem. The main thing is that my phone is now stuck at the LG logo. Previously i was running the CM 10.2 Stable Build.
How can i get back to working condition? Either CM or Genuine LG Rom, I just want my phone to be up and running.
Please Help. I am really scared at this moment.
You don't share any details so I have to guess...
Enter recovery like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifi-ArGeTzQ , restore your Backup or flash another ROM, done.

I can enter both the modes shown in the video.
The thing is i was running CM 10.2 with a TWRP installed of version 2.6.3.2. I downloaded the CM 11 and went into TWRp to flash it but it couldnt flash the CM11. Then after searching the net i found out that TWRP 2.6.3.3 or higher is required to install CM11. The problem is that i wiped my dalvic, data, cache and system and did not keep a backup. So when the Cm11 wont install i was stuck in the TWRP as i didn not have the 10.2 rom file in the phone.
Then downloaded the TWRP 2.6.3.3 and also a CWM zip (just in case). Using ADB i tried to update the TWRM but still some other error shows up. Tried installing the CWm still some error shows up. i tried installing again and this time the recovery asked me to install superuser (though i was rooted). I selected YES and after that i am boot looping in the lg logo.
Anyways thats basically what happened. Now how do i get further and make my phone work again?
Please help brother. I am in deep trouble.
Thank You
Man... always keep a backup, you know, just in case
Shouldn't be a problem at all. You have ADB access right? So here is TWRP 2.6.3.4 those are flashable ZIPs.
Push the file, flash with recovery, reboot to recovery again and you should be on 2.6.3.4. Then flash CM11 and you are good to go...

So you can't enter the recovery like shown in the video? And the command adb reboot recovery doesn't work either?
At this point your only option is to return back to stock and start over but with a recovery from the link I provided in the other thread.

Ok then i will follow this process and hopefully be successful in getting my phone up and running.
Thanks for the help. Downloading 2Gb will take some time. So will post the result tomorrow.
Regarding rooting and installing custom recovery again, i will do that later. For now i just want my phone alive.
Anyways Thanks again everyone for the helpful information
Try getting to download mode right now. Because if you can't get to download mode you can't use the back to stock method
from my Note Thrizzle
Thanks everyone for the help and support. I have successfully reverted back to Stock LG Firmware.
I have some questions.
1. Do i have root access anymore?
2. Is my previous custom recovery still in my system?
3. If no for both then please help me with the appropriate article to root, install custom recovery and then install CM11, as my previous recovery was not able to install CM 11.
Thank You
Hi All,
I've succesfully unlocked and rooted my Nexus 10
I've installed TWRP 2.7 on the device , but now it keeps booting in TWRP , nothing else
The fastboot gives FAIL invalid partition so i assume somethings missing.
I tried to restore the backup buti it says at the top Kernel does not have support for readeing SELinux contexts
Than it reads the MD5 and returns in TWRP recovery
I tried to load a different rom but also no succes , can i put another recovery on it ?

hi sir, i am having the same issue as you while i was flashing the latest PA. may i know how did you fix this kernel issue?
Hello all, I have an issue with recovery on my i9505 which hopefully someone can assist with?
I'm using the excellent Optimised CM12.1 and had TWRP 2.8.7.2 (f2fs) as my recovery all working fine. I've recently flashed the newest 2015-11-1 ROM over the top (clear cache and dalvik, but not data wipe) and all seemed great.
However, I went to 'reboot to recovery' in order to install exposed and got stuck on the teamwin splash screen of recovery. Every time I tried to power off it would bootloop into the same splash screen!
Using Odin I was able to flash a new recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0) and reboot the phone as normal. All worked fine until I tried recovery again and found the same issue!
I've now got CWM (6.0.4.7) flashed to see if that would help but nothing is mounted when using that and so I cannot get to the zip files! When attempting to mount within CWM it errors and cannot mount.
I'm open to any suggestions and would like to learn why this is occurring. Let me know if there's any logs or files I can post that would help.
Many thanks in advance!

Do not use CWM. It's outdated and not compatible with Lollipop.
You could try flashing a stock rom with .pit and re-partition. After that flash TWRP again.

Thanks for the advice. I don't like CWM myself.. just tried it as an attempt to get TWRP flashed back properly!
I will go the stock re-flash route as a last resort. I'm sure it will fix the issue but is a little drastic.
What caused this? - is it something to do with the F2FS filesystem? TWRP recovery was working fine in order for me to flash the updated CM12.1 (2015-11-1).
Hello. I have tried to install a rom via twrp on my grand prime g530FZ and apparently i succeeded, but after the installation i rebooted the device and it rebooted into the recovery, so i tried again but the same thing happens. No matter what i do it always boots in the recovery and when it boots a yellow text appears which says: Warranty bit set : recovery". I have also tried to restore from a nand backup that i made but nothing, always the same problem with the same text. I have also tried to flash another version of twrp thinking that maybe it was a problem of my current one, but nothing, same thing. I can't use my phone now, what can i do?
