[Q] [request] Samsung Continuum i400 section

Can a subforum be made for this phone? I'm new, but am having trouble finding info about mods on this phone as they are usually hidden within the other Galaxy S line Phones.

There aren't any ROMs yet...

Um..yes there is a stock Dl17...and a 2.2...and overclock kernels(flashed one but it doesn't seem to be showing up under phone info/kernel..still shows old one but I'm able to use overclock apps now). Pst for more info

So here is my story, i tried to install a new rom via rom manager.
It was all going well until i hit the back button (stupid).
The phone was not responding so i pulled the battery out.
Tried to boot and then i got this:

Then i got this:
When i touch the power button the screen goes off.
When i touch it again you will see the screen again.
So then i boot into Recovery with the "!" screen.
1. Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
2. Flash zip from sd
But then i get this error: Nohup
Can someone please help me?

Can you get into USB fastboot?

Just use FakeFlash and install the ROM without interruptions...

I'v spoken to Koush, I helped with with ClockworkMOD on the Galaxy Tab. Why?

CWM is the only recovery image for the Legend. So many issues could be solved if people just used fakeflash.

Well if you look at it that way It would be really nice if there was a stickie called "FakeFlash: try this before you ask !" in bold red size 25 text
edit: in every one of those 4 forums

Does this app work for you guys?

My wife is trying to load some diet apps on her A7, but we're running into a really strange bug... they ask you to verify your age, but then they won't let you change your birth year to anything lower than 2010! If you try to continue, it says that you must be 18 to use the app!
I went through and installed all the updates available and put the market back on and everything, but it's still doing the same thing. This happens on several apps and there is nothing in the comments that indicates it's happening to other users. Maybe it's an A7 thing???

Well, it started with Factory firmware and the first update eLocity release (12/21/10?) and first gen hacked gapps, but it's acting the same with Factory firmware 2.0.134 and bestialbub's market mod.

Log into www.play.google.com. Search for androidlost app. Click install. It will download the app to your device whenever it gets connected to a network- WiFi or data, provided your google account odds still active in the device. Then you can log into www.androidlost.com and control your device.

And since you haven't resisted a phone number to androidlost in your tab, I think you'll also need to install androidlost jumpstart. Follow the instructions given in the website.

Yes it Work on My slate! I already tested

2nd hand phone - almost blank screen after booting & selecting language

Apparently the owner ran into an issue after trying to update to kit Kat with Odin. I presume he tried to flash the stock firmware since be doesnt know what root means. He says it boots up fine and you manage to get into the select language screen. But afterwards you get a sparse black screen.

If the owner knows how to flash firmware on a phone, why hasn't he fixed it himself?

Sigh. Bought the phone, for 200 though. I flashed a stock firmware via Odin. Still same screen as above. Sigh. I tried rooting it and getting Philz touch on it. Touch input does not seem to work. Loaded aosp roms and kernels onto the phone. Flashed it via Philz recovery. Gives me bootloops.
Ideas?

Managed to somehow install a aosp rom. Touch input doesn't work? Wtf? How do I fix it? Screen lights up fine so what's the issue?
