I'm running baja rom and about two days ago my screen has a delay to turn on. When my screen is off i press the wake button and is take about 2-3 seconds to come on. I figure a Reflash of the room would fix the problem just hate having to install apps all over again from the backup. Any Ideas?

So far I have notice this 2 times today and each time my phone was connected to computer via usb.
I press the power / home key to turn on display but nothing. The other buttons still vibrates the phone. Then 5 seconds later the phone reboots.
I've had this issue before when I was flashing a lot of newly ported t mobile roms. when there was a lot if trickery and kernel flashing to get them to work. What I did was wipe a couple times and install a rooted stock rom and wiped again and it worked again just fine

Just updated to a 4.4 rom on my i337, and whenever I reboot my phone, the screen won't turn off.
It would take hours before something happens that finally overloads it and forces a force close on my apps and then its back to working normal.
The only thing I noticed is that when it does happen, some apps show up in the superuser toast and start working again. Superuser wasn't even on the whole time.

Does not turn off when:
-Power button is pressed
-timeout time (no matter how long the time out is set for)
This only happens after a reboot, and will last for either an hour or a few hours.
But, if and when it finally does start working, it happens after some weird force close of one of the apps.
Currently, it is working fine after a few reboots and uninstalling Dynamic Notifications. It seems to me that when I disabled Dynamic Notifications, the app would still act as the lock screen. I had to actually remove it completely and so far after a few reboots it hasn't reoccurred.
I'm on 4.4 and unrooted. My phone has the longest startup time ever. It used to be fast and I haven't done anything out of the ordinary to have probably caused the issue. It boots normally, but then when the att logo appears, it does the little animation but then vibrates once slightly, then usually follows another slight vibrate some seconds later. This usually occurs for about 45 seconds to a minute until my lockscreen appears. I factory reset, and I tried powering off and on right after the reset. It was back to normal. However after I downloaded all my apps again and reinstated my settings, the problem reappeared. Is it simply because of the number of apps I have? I don't remember this happening before the update. I thought it was because I had downloaded and used zooper widget, but I uninstalled that app and tried the booting. It was the same duration (1 minute on att screen)
My bad. I'm on Android 4.3 *

I am facing a serious issue right now. My nexus 4 can't sleep!
In the morning I got a call and after I hung up, my phone switched itself off (since the battery was at 1% for more than 25 mins). And then when I plugged it into charging and switched it on I noticed that the phone wasn't able to sleep! Pressing the power button did nothing (although long pressing it did bring up the power off and airplane mode pop up, so I know its working fine) I set the sleep duration to 15 secs after the phone hasn't been used but that didn't help.I switched off the phone and turned it back on but the problem still remains! Looks like some bug. Help me! Has anyone faced this problem? Oh and BTW I am running 4.4.4 stock ROM with root , TWRP recovery and installed gltools XDA developer edition 2 days before but I don't think its causing the problem since I uninstalled it and checked.

OK so I installed a widget for turning off screen and locking it. When I clicked on the widget , the screen just locked itself but didn't turn off. Someone help!
