I'm not able to flash any more custom packages (rom, mod, kernel...) on my phone even with custom recovery. now every time I flash a zip file, my phone gets stuck at boot screen. I 'm not a newbie, I have been flashing phone on different brands and G2 for 3 months!
It happened after I flashed a wrong kernel version on my D802 (D800 instead). so I used LG support tool to get back to life, and the phone is fully functionnal. I can still root nd and install custom recovery, and even after flashing, I have no error message.
Any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I am having issues with this phone of mine. Here is a background of it:
My phone is rooted and is running rayglobe rom. I tried updating the update that it gave me and made me stuck in bootloop.
Now I downloaded another rom, which I don't remember since this happened december 2013. after flashing, it does not boot and does not make me go to TWRP anymore. Now I tried using download mode to restore my phone. but eveytime I try to flash (using the 2 methods I saw in the thread), either it hangs at 49% or the other one does not start flashing because it says I have inconsistent dll? I downloaded a D802 stock rom and tried flashing via download mode and it says that I have different model (F380K). Now I tried downloading a dll and F380K stock rom, but won't allow me because it says that my phone is D802. But when I go to download mode it is korean and it says F380K.
I think I have flashed a korean rom before which made this incident happen, but do you have any idea how I can restore this?
Thank you all in advance.
If this was me, I would do a factory reset.
sounds like you should go back to stock firmware.

First check what exactly phone model in Internet Browser. Then download TOT and flash back to stock.

I faced similar problem with D800. I had the correct dll and the firmware but it failed saying my phone model was different (I think its because I tried the "upgrade recovery" option on the LG PC software by selecting a different model).
My phone was passing the LG screen and stuck at android boot screen.
What I did:
Pushed a kitkat based rom for D800 to sdcard using adb on Linux (on windows adb failed to recognise the device).
Then adb reboot recovery and flashed the rom.
Then I was able to flash the factory image.
Guys can someone help me? I have a sprint lg g2 that was flashed with a tmobile stock via lg flasher or something and it was then flashed with sprint stock rom on it(that failed)...so, now its on a t-mobile rom but, it reboots every 10-20 secs....I have managed to re-root it again, but having trouble flashing custom recovery on it. also, now it doesn't show up under adb devices anymore...but, I can get it into download mode, can I still save it? or all is lost?
so, I finally flashed CWM onto it, so can I just sideload a rom?
Hi, I have a very senitive problem with my G2 and I can't solve it.
So I am not new to rooting and flashing but this never happened to me...
I installed TWRP on my international unlocked LG G2 D802 and flashed stock LG 4.4.2
All good but..now I can't acces any recovery. When I want to enter recovery mode. It says boot verification failed and then it just stays on black screen.
So I tried installing CWM and same thing, back to TWRP and same thing...
So I tought, what if I install CM 11 with cyanogenmod installer, cause they install all the things for you right?
Is this dangerous or something?
Please help me if you can.
Did u even read the other threads on 4.4.2
There is like 500+ answers to this on this forum..
You can't install Kitkat and keep custom recovery without some workarounds. Now you would have to downgrade to Jellybean and update the correct way to keep it.
So i have a jdi panel d800 g2 ( iwas on 20k). i rooted with ioroot and installed TWRP then flashed a jdi KK kernel to avoid white lines. Then i followed the steps to install g3 rom. cleared memory etc and flashed baseband. when i flashed the g3 rom it seemed to go well and then asked me to set it up by choosing my carrier and such. when it was finished it asked me to reboot and then proceeded to get stuck on the lg logo.. so i flashed baack to 20c and got the ota update to 20y did everything again except install the Baseband and rom... how can i get it on right? couldnt find advice on cloudyg3 rom thread... any help appreciated!
So, first got my LG G2. Was on 4.4.2. Managed to get custom recovery on it, cool. Attempted flashing resurrection remix. Success, bootloop.
TOT'd back to stock firmware, 4.2.2. Managed to root device, and place custom recovery on it after multiple apps because I don't understand what the f*** "Loki" Is, or anything. So I attempted to flash 4.4.2 ROM, failed. Cool. Attempted to flash resurrection remix again, got aboot error, and loki-ifying failure of some stuff. Rebooted device, bootloop. Cool. So, how do I place lollipop on the LS980 4.2.2?
@edit, got LiquidSmooth 4.4.4 ROM on there from 4.2.2. Had audio error, flashed newer nightly of LiquidSmooth, got bootloop. Flashed KK Baseband from Cloudy's thingy for the LS980, ran CloudyG2 LP Rom, installed via aroma, now I'm stuck in fastboot. gg.
Are you sure you're flashing the right versions? i.e. D801 for T-Mobile, etc

Yeah, it was stated on by the pages of which, LS980 (Sprint), VS980(Ver) 802, int.. Etc.
Now I'm having to attempt to modify tot files to change model versions because my phone
Appears to be model LG-F320S in Download mode, but it's not. I flashed CloudyG2 3.0, and his LS980 KK Baseband
And that's what occured me to get stuck in fastboot mode. Now I've been reflashing stock firmware img's and I can't
Get back into fastboot mode, so I'm stuck in Downloading Mode but as I modify the hex, and try to do the tot file, I
Continuously get wrong model number. It's kinda aggravating...
@edit, managed to get back to 4.2.2 stock firmware with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g2/general/dll-to-bypass-lg-flash-tool-model-check-t2990665
Now how do I upgrade to Lollipop?
