I've notice that safe strap has been released for VZW and AT&T variants, however haven't seen any word as to whether these will work on the international variants.
Has anyone tried it with any luck? Or altenatively, is there any word as to if there will be a version released for international?

My Canadian variant of the S4 is an i337m, which, at least according to the model name, seems similar to the AT&T variant
If it's only AT&T that has locked its bootloader, is there any chance that code from the Canadian S4s (like from Bell) would be in some way helpful in getting your US AT&T variant up and running with custom firmware, etc?
This is all way above my pay-grade so to speak, so if this is a non-starter, my apologies. Just brainstorming / offering to help.
Bootloader unlock is already done. The release is just being delayed until the Verizon locked GS4's are released so the maximum number of people can use the unlock.

Has anyone tried installing the international rom on the AT&T version? Aren't the phones both the same? Or can anyone make a port of the international rom like for the Note II? Thanks!
Not sure if it would work. specs are similar though the LTE bands show some differences.

The AT&T version has a locked bootloader so no.

I'll keep this short and simple without being rude. The AT&T Galaxy S4 has a locked bootloader, which means we currently cannot install any ROMs whatsoever. The Canadian variants have unlocked bootloaders, so they might be able to answer your question, but otherwise check back around the end of the month (when we anticipate that we'll have an unlocked bootloader, thanks to djbliss).

I'm looking for some information about which variants of Galaxy S5 are available in EU (SM-G900F, SM-G900T/A... any other ones?) and what the differences between them are. Are there any variants that were not rooted yet? Are any of the available variants are likely to receive less support from the modding community (which, if I'm not mistaken, was the case with 3G only variant of Galaxy S4).
I will most likely be purchasing S5 within next few weeks and since I cannot stand TW rooting and flashing a custom ROM will be the first thing I'll do so I would like to know if there's anything that I should be aware of.

To be specific, the AT&T (jflteatt) has the CM12 with Lollipop on nightlies, however not the Canadian versions. As far as I know, both phones are identical except for carrier.
Has anyone tried to install the CM12 for jflteatt on a Rogers S4? what results did you get?
Also, I am seeing alot of safestrap and other new things I am completely noobish on, if I were to flash Lollipop roms, what is different compared to flashing kitkat roms?

It's been awhile since I have owned a Samsung and I'm about to get a Note 4 so I was wondering what Android 7.0 Roms are out that will work with the AT&T Snapdragon model. I see Roms for all the international models and even the T-Mobile variants but I don't see anything for the AT&T variant. I will have to brush up on my flashing and Rom'ing skills as it's been too long since I have done it but I am familiar with doing all this. Thanks guys.

There is no custom ROMs for at&t model to be honest. At&t lock there devices down completely so at present there is no root, no twrp and no ROMs. Dont think there ever will be
callumbr1 , yeah, I have been doing allot of research and it's very disappointing. But there is always getting a t mobile device unlocked and still being able to enjoy some Nougat love.....
