I don't know, but maybe you can try this:
Mod edit...links to warez not allowed here
One of my friends told me that this website is going to provide Wear Apps to, but maybe I don't know. Be careful with these websites though. They may harm your PC, or mobile.
Android Wear apps site looks ok

I visited the site and it is ok just reviews of the latest apps for Android Wear, I think its a good place for indie developers to showcase their apps, Google featured only 18 apps so far and its all from huge companies, its a good thing that there are site for Android Wear where indie can show off their apps.
Any favorite Android Wear app from first 18 apps in Google Play?
Google released the Android wear section. In the play store yesterday .

If you search on the play store "android wear" and include the " " it will bring up all the apps that are compatible with android wear,
not just the ones that google are showing you,

For android you can use torrents and black market app

Guys stop talking about warez, torrents and blackmart alpha and sideloading.....it will lead to piracy.....dont discuss on xda.discuss on forums like market militia if at all u want to discuss such a topic. The Archangel or some other moderator will close this thread soon ...... I understand the OP's urge to use metro apps but you should have used a pm instead
Anyway ill help...as far as i know there is no other way to sideload apps except by getting a developer license from microsoft.
Hit thanks if i helped you

I haven't seen anything like this for the Windows 8 store yet, your best bet is probably going to be getting a US-based VPN.
i had no chance with vpn. but succeeded with fiddler + socks proxy. however, download speed is very low. i hope someone make a good leecher soon.
I've read that its possible to side load 8 apps (and indeed chrome does it upon install) but I've never looked into it.

Browsers have special exceptions, and they aren't in the store either. You can't install them on rt.

Almost everybody is aware about the Heartbleed bug in OpenSSL.
Lookout Mobile Security has released a Heartbleed detector to know if our Android device is affected or not.
If you are interested here is the Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout.heartbleeddetector
What is Heartbleed?
Heartbleed is a software flaw in the OpenSSL “Heartbeat” function that helps keep secure connections alive. This function was found to be vulnerable to manipulation in a way that allows an attacker to steal up to 64K of data at a time from the active memory of affected systems. The bug, found by researchers from Codenomicon and Google, and filed with the following reference number – CVE-2014-0160, impacts any infrastructure that includes the affected versions of OpenSSL.

Same here.
Do you know if is there any possibility to upgrade OpenSSL manually without waiting for an Android update (Maybe fixed in future 4.4.3 OTA???)

We (regular Android users) can't do anything afaik.
The app says that I'm affected BUT I've read that only OpenSSL 1.0.1 of Android 4.1.1 is vulnerable (here)
FYI Openvpn Wiki
If you're using fr05ty rom then you're already safe

I find it hard so hard to believe an OpenSSL binary for Android hasn't been released yet OR someone hasn't created an Xposed module to somehow patch it. I'm none too worried about it because it does say it doesn't affect our OpenSSL on 4.4.2...but still security is all about being paranoid. But I wouldn't be surprised if Google extends the date for the release of 4.4.3 to get OpenSSL patched. I feel like Google doesn't like to NOT tie up loose ends.

I guess you misunderstood me, I meant a link that is not the google play store. A link that directly allows me to install the apk. I dont use Google services in my phone and therefore cannot use the playstore. I have no gapps in my phone.

If anyone wants to know how I did it, I used an alternative scanner called bluebox scanner, which used the aptoide store, which I have installed.
FYI, android 4.2.2 cyanogenmod 10.3 has the vulnerability but its not enabled.

Just curious why you don't use any Google services. Do you not have a GMail account? Strange to use Android and not use Google services.

+1
Besides, people are more likely to report apps that don't work than the ones that do.
Also the title is misleading. A better title would be something like Apps that work on Android L, because "Android L Apps" to me are the default apps bundled with Android L (i.e: Android L dialer, Android L calculator etc..). Because I came into this thread hoping to find Android L apps that works on Kitkat.
OK I have the list:
(Google play store apps + some beta unpublished) - the apps that don't work.

Despite what others say I think this is a good idea!!
I would want to know what apps work based on request whether they do or don't. If someone asks if a certain app works in the "apps that don't work" thread no one responds as its only for pointing out what apps DON'T work.
I don't want to wipe everything then find out one of the apps i use force closes. I want to know if flipboard works for example.

I've had Android Wear since the release of the 360. It wasn't a separate app, it was the Amazon app, it had wear functionality. You used to be able to search and order from your watch.
Anyone?
