I am new to Galaxy note 3 and have questions. I just obtained this device and want to upgrade to this N3 from my current N2. Here's the deal:
This Galaxy Note 3 has safestrap installed and the Android version is 4.4.2. The baseband version is N900VVRUCNC4. (From the About Phone screen).
I am new to Safestrap and like I say the device has safestrap on it.
How can I install another ROM?
I would like to remain with TouchWiz, but also like my Note 2, I want to be able to use the native hotspot app- I have grandfathered unlimited data and currently use it on my Note 2 to tether for free.
Please forgive these dumb questions, but I am hoping I found the right place to be able to get me in the right direction. A family member will be receiving my Beanstown Galaxy Note 2.
Thanks so much in advance.

I love my not3 don't get me wrong but AT&T has so much crap on it but where I want to root the phone and get the best out of it and I'm always looking to use the phone to tether I've been told several times T Mobile note3 frimware was better than At&t note3. and still wanting to try out the T Mobile service on my note3 anyways.
Greetings all!
I plan to switch from my Galaxy S4 to a Note 3. I inted to use CM11 on my new phone. Coming from the GS4, I've managed to dodge the issues regarding the locked bootloader. I was wondering if such an issue exists on the Note 3, and if so, how to avoid it. Which firmware version should I be aiming for?

AFAIK, Note 3 AT&T has a locked bootloader.
International version does not have locked bootloader.

N9005 is what you want
CM11 means knox 0x1 and it is not possible to reset it back to 0x0, just so you know.
I'm trying to root a note 3 on simple mobile model number SM-N900T Android version 4.4.2 is there anyway or method to root this note 3 while still keeping the note 3 functional like data , phone calls etc ?
Thats not a Verizon phone, It's T-mobile. This forum is for Verizon models. I'm pretty sure it's the same process. You can probably use towelroot... but check the forums for T-mobile Note 3 information and make sure.
Hello everybody in this forum and happy new year 2016!
I've been spending time reading old Note 3 forums and is been hard to find any good Rom working on our AT&T Note 3, because our device has Locked Bootloader.
Actually I am running Phronesis Rom V. 2 and is great so far no lag, no complain. But I would like to jump to another Rom because this is the higher version I can run on my Locked Bootloader Note 3.
Is there any other Rom you guys know is 100% working on our locked bootloader AT&T Note 3? Hopefully with Lollipop 5.0.x + or Note 4,5 port for ours.
Please post links to try them.
Yes I am noob, but I don't want to rid of my AT&T note 3 for now.
Thanks in advanced for read my post.
I've read every related thread but still am unsure,
Verizon Galaxy Note 3
