when I bought the i9500 came with Android 4.3, when I connected to the mobile network signal was stable, but the upgrade to Android 4.4.2 the mobile network its totally unstable, making it impossible to download anything. But I put a modded rom with Android 4.2.2 the mobile network was stable. Currently I'm with MIUI. Any idea what might happen?
I tried with differents modem but finally i solved it with rom slimkat

hello there, i bought the international version of I9505 after my I9500 got stolen...
i installed Philz Touch revocery, CF auto root for the same model and Omega V9.0 JB4.2.2
no after i rebooted my phone i realized that theres no wifi connection available on my device.
on the main thread of the ROM theres a section that says that i need to install the LTE modem of the phone to make it work.
the file is for the XXUBMGA baseband and my baseband is XXUBMAE.
i downloaded and flashed properly the XXUBMAE modem but its not working, can i install the XXUBMGA on my phone?
i dont want to Brick my new phone with unmatching basebands and modem/ROMs...

Flash a kernel like KT and it will work and this thread is not belong here!

If you installed a diff. modem it won't brick your phone just your mobile data won't work. Omega rom isn't stable lot's of bug try Wanam lite.

Should work Fine and If you think it doesnt work then flash this file via odin by Selecting phone/CP. and hit thst thanks button for once. LOL
So my issue is that after installing Cyanogenmod onto my Samsung Galaxy S4 it does NOT connect to my mobile carrier network.
I tried using Tweakker but it doesn't list my carrier (US Cellular) So I can't get helped there!
I really hope I didn't **** my phone and some god-like hero can come to my rescue.
If you've had this problem and know how to fix it I REALLY hope you post here!

I mean if you installed a STABLE version or one NIGHTLY. NIGHTLY versions are full of bugs. Try to install one stable version.

dial *#06# and check if the imei number is the same as the one under your battery. If it's not, you could have lost your imei.

and there is a message "Not registered on network" !!

Are you in a bad coverage area? Is your apn and applicable settings correct? What were you doing before this started?

You can jack up your whole efs, partitions and everything when flashing if just one little thing is off. Can you restore your previous rom and make everything work?

Flashing a new rom probably won't fix it, bit of you want to try, bobcat ROM is the best one in my opinion.

Which rom where you on before this problem?
Were you on Xnote for 4.3 ? and you updated to stock 4.4.2?
If that is the case, I recovered mine.

Wifi just disconnects and says "Internet unavailable" (or just disconnects) when i try to download something or just searching the internet. I currrently running "*[6.0.1] [PORT] [N9005] [V4] TouchWiz Marshmallow for Note 3 by*artas182x" with Lsskernel for mmports (I tried so much roms, but every time i have this issue only on 6.0.1 tw ported roms). My modem: N9005XXUGPQB1 Bootloader:N9005XXSGBQD1. Sorry for bad english.

None of that modems helps
Flash your phones latest stock rom via Odin and test .
Custom TW roms do not have a WiFi problem though some users do .

I tried this many times, it's doesn't helps too. Maybe something wrong with device itself?
If wifi works with a stock ROM, the wifi problem is not due to a hardware problem.
Any ideas what it could be?
It could be a kernel issue or the may ROM need a wifi patch.
Probably best to pick a TW rom with no wifi problems under search thread.

See modem baseband thread in General section for proper.
You should flash your phones original firmware to start.
