Hi,
I had factory data reset my Samsung Galaxy S4 that's on 4.2.2 and is AWS Enabled through this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291589
After rebooting I keep getting a constant pop up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" when pressing "Ok" it would pop up again after a couple seconds.
Also I cant make any calls anymore because when it pops up, it ends my call.
( My signal is on and off every few seconds )
I would appreciate a fast response as my phone is rendered useless right now
Thanks
Anyone know how to fix this? :crying:

Have you tried to clear the cache under aapplication/all/phone?

I can't remember the exact error message but my phone will randomly restart and produce a SIM card error, prompting me to restart again. Things go back to normal after the 2nd reboot - this tends to happen every day.
I've searched all IceColdInsomnia - 7.0 AOKP forums and these Q & A forums as well to no avail :-( Anybody have experience with this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

I've seen this error before. It happens totally randomly. I've even gotten it with no reboot, all that happened was my launcher force closed. I would press OK to restart the phone and same thing - it would reboot fine. Then I just started pressing the back button to remove the error box instead of rebooting. I would be connected to the network so my SIM was fine.
I'm guessing something is triggering a faulty error message. Every time I had it there didn't appear to be an error but the dialog box appears anyway. I've since switched ROMs but if you can get a logcat when it happens (search XDA on how to do that) and pass it along to blackwing182 he might be able to figure it out.
It reminds me of when you suddenly kill the power on your PC and Windows tells you "Windows was shut down unexpectedly, now I need to spend 35 minutes checking for errors!" even though everything is fine
Recently, whenever someone calls me, that message pops up. It constantly pops up whenever I make it go away. Decided to restart my Nexus, but it still was there. However, if I press the dialer, the error actually stops and my phone works normally. Is there a particular reason why it does this? And possibly a solution? Without factory resetting?

Unfortunately, same thing just started happening here, with LiquidSmooth 2.9 on my Tmobile Note 2...
Started when a phone call came in, has not stopped since.
Even after reboot.
Phone is now unusable...
UPDATE - Pressing Dialer actually stops it.
It is just a bit tricky to press OK, then try hitting the dialer button quickly.
But it does seem to fix it.
Can now use phone again.
Hi i rebooted my stock Note 3 the other day and once rebooted a message keeps flashing up every 3 seconds 'unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped' you can press OK then it appears again 3 seconds later, upon investigation it seems its a problem with the Contacts & Contacts Storage which you have to clear the data disable enable etc but my phone still got this message popping up making it virtually unusable, Please HELP ? ive read through other threads i could find and i really dont want to do the last resort of a Factory reset etc, thx

This happened to me twice after installing incompatible xposed mod. So I kept on pressing ok and uninstalled those mods and it worked.
SOLVED
After many hours of trying different things i found the problem, booted into safe mode and noticed that the message didn't appear which indicates that it must be a 3rd party app conflict, so looked back in the task manager under downloads, sorted by date installed to the date that the message first appeared, then uninstalled the apps from that day, then restarted phone and the message had, gone, so i installed the deleted apps one by one to find the offending app which was GRIDD 2 v1.3.1 strangely it had no obvious permissions that i could see.
So I just did a factory reset a few days ago and now I'm getting an error/pop-up on my home screen after each time that I reboot my phone saying "Unfortunately TouchWiz Home has stopped"
I click ok and everything seems to work fine afterwards but why would this be happening?
