Dock Launcher

I know a member created an app to launch desk clock once the power is connected, this was great but I want to launch 'better alarm clock', could the app be modified? Anyone know of an app?
Please don't suggest locale, I only want an extremely small (memory and disk size) app to do the job.
Thanks

Widget trouble

I am using current widget and setcpu and no matter how many of the settings I change Neither of them show the current current or processor speed. Am I missing something?

But youre using the widget for current widget? On one of your home screens? Try to tab on the widget it will toggle between mva and percentage I believe

I don't think that's his problem. If I am not mistaken, the widget is not refreshing and is constantly showing him 0mA. My friend had this problem in his Sensation when I asked him to check his battery drain so I could compare mine to a native Android phone. @ The OP, have you tried manually refreshing the widget (if this is your problem) by the update now button?
EDIT: Oh, OK, so it was his problem My bad.
Man I feel like an a$$ I didn't know they had added that option and since I was using the clear widget it didn't have the arrows so I never saw them. And for some reason after a restart the setcpu is working again. Thank you all for the help I will now go face palm myself!

Nice work but good to post in theme and app section...
Timescape
Could anyone please try to mod two new versions of the Timescape Widget, with transparencies 100% opaque and 100% transparent?
All the times I see a photo in Timescape Widget the colors and the contrast aren't OK, my friends photos seems somewhat watered here. I think this is the time for someone trying to do these greater modifications on the Timescape for us.
works nice here. was looking for similar stuff to these. always so many beautiful transparent widgets in people's rom ss but never can I find them

Root the phone and use gravitybox

You can use an app like this if you don't want to ROOT: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kroegerama.android4batpercent
Or this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.edavid93.kitkat_battery_percentage
I think the 2nd one is the one I used with this phone up until this week (when I rooted). You don't need to root your phone with either of these, but you may need to restart it (even if it says you don't).

I'm using the first link. I like it. I've read that once you installed it, you can uninstall it and it will still be there.
I use Gsam Battery Monitor. Creates a battery icon in status bar that is easy to read. Also gives you phone temp.

If you pull down the notification area and tap on the status bar to bring up the quick setting menu you can see the percentage. That's good enough for me
I am a big fan of Settings Extended. For battery percentage and other cool notification bar features.
No root required .

Thank you for all the suggestions. I like the root one the best. I am NOT going to root just yet however because I have not decided whether or not I am keeping the device

I'd you don't have root or want to I use an app called Battery Percentage Enabler in the app store. Works great and root not needed.

I have the Moto X pure edition and there's an option for this but I don't remember where. I've seen it and enabled it but now it's gone.

Drop down status bar. Hold the gear icon for about five seconds. Should swirl and enable system ui tuner under settings. In this menu you can enable battery percentage. No root needed.

Thanks. This worked but it's different then where I enabled it once. I wonder if I'm thinking I did this in 5.1.1 which my phone cane with. I've had the phone less then a month.
Where are the best available instructions located should I decide to root the Moto X pure edition?

Solved
Hi as per your question
Please pull down the notifications bar, now long press on the gear icon for a while.
System ui tuner will be enabled and added to settings.
Go to system ui tuner in settings.
Go to status bar.
There you can find battery and how you want it to be displayed.
Works in Android 6 and 7
