how u partition it in 1st place??
use minitool partition wizard it's freeware
Edit: all data will lost so better backup b4 deleting
I used mini tool to partition it but it doesn't show up with both partitions, it only shows the fat 32 one..i used a standard usb cable plugged into the phone when I partitioned it. All my stuff is already backed up and ready to go.

Blank USB storage

Hi guyz...
I recently repartion and format my internal storage in recovery mode..
and now i got this Blank USB Storage message keep poping out .. and when viewing at storage my Internal Memory storage is not detected..
appreciate if anyone can help..
thanks
First, Re-boot your phone. After re-booting media scanner will run. Your Internal SD will be discovered then. Also, What is it showing in the Internal memory? Like, WHen you go to Settings-Memory, what is it showing?
Just a question, In your signature you hvae no mention about i9003 as your phone. This forum si for i9003 developement and not for S2 development...Was this problem on your S2?
Did it solve your problem? Revert me back!

Maybe you accidentally unmounted your internal SD in recovery mode?

How to remove photo from gallery?

I just got the S4 32gb and I gave my son my S3 I did the reset am my photo are still in the gallery. So can anyone tell me How to remove photo from gallery?
If you are talking about photos still on S3 you need to wipe the internal sd card as well. Factory reset just resets the phone unless you hit the button that says erase everhthing.

Unmounting sd card causes my note 3 to reboot

Hi guys..has anyone of you having thesame problem after kitkat updates? When i try to unmount my sd card from settings it takes 30-60 secs and booom!my n9005 restarted itself and as if nothing has happen..my sd card still mounted. I did try to unmount it again and still same thing happens. At first i noticed that when i try to browse my files from the sd card using es file manager .it shows "invalid path" but after i updated the app it works fine..but still the problem unmounting occurs.. i search all over the web but seems nothing was facing this problem before.here r the other infos of my device:
N9005 kitkat 4.4.2
Micro sd sandisk class 4 16gb
Hope somebody can suggest how can i fix this without requiring me to format my sd card coz i do have a lot of files there and i do not have other device that i can use for backup..

Haven't u tried formatting ur sd card yet?the safest thing i can do for now is switch off my fone and unmount the sd card, i really dont want to format my sd now until i have my backup.and i also having a thought that this wasnt causing a bad sd card as you were saying.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Well when I updated my phone to 4.4.2 I did a full factory reset then formatted the SD card. I like to move what apps I can to the SD card to free up internal memory.

Unable to back up on ExtSdcard

Hi guys,
I was trying to back up my nova feature to my SD card and for x reason it didn't work. Saving to internal storage work but that would be useless when wiping for a new ROM, I noticed I can't transfer files from my device too ( internal to SD gotta be done by computer). SD card is a 32gb Kingston
Thanks

Hi There
Google has blocked the permission to write to sd card.
easiser solution is download SDFIX from google play.
root required.
Any idea why did they did? I'll try it, thanks

Google seems take it as a security issue.
It happens kk4.4 or later.

Use Samsung's own app for file moving, worked for me with with multimedia files.
Save it to phone memory then transfer to sd card using my files app.

SDFix definitely fixes the issue if you are rooted. Android 4.4 changes the stock permissions, so apps only have read/write permissions to folders that they create and can't write to folders created manually or by other apps. SDFix restores permissions to how they were prior to 4.4. Its less secure, but it allows programs like Titanium Backup to function again.

I have no problems with nova backup to sd on my s4,and its on 4.4 too
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Right now there isn't a way to change the folder where the Nova backups are stored (/sdcard/data/com.teslacoilsw.launcher/backup). What you can do next time is make your backup and then copy it to your SD card or PC. When you do your next reset you can copy that backup file back to where it's expected to be and be back in business. Kind of poor coding that you can't just save it to your SD in the first place...
Omega ROM doesn't have that glitch.
An app called File expert can read/write to external xd card without root. They have sorted this issue out
Sdfix did work guys. I used it to backup Nova setting on ExtSd
