I was wondering if anyone could put the LG G3 and the Android L boot animations together for the LG G2?
I think it would look really cool to have both and would love to see this I tried to do it myself but I just cannot wrap my head around the boot animations.
Thanks in advance!
I attached the LG G3 and the Android L boot animations below (Media.zip = LG G3 // Android L Boot Animation.zip = Android L)
How can I use these?
You paste the one into system/media then reboot

Thanks for your hard work! I was looking all over for this, yours was so easy to install. I'm a nubie to all rooting, zips, etc... But learning more and getting better at all of this. Thank you again!
I was wondering what it's like. Can anybody post a gif? I'm eager to see

I'm currently using CloudyG3 so I presume that it comes with G3's boot animation. So the combination of both?

Just on more question wat should be the name of the bootanim's sound???
rename it to :-
android_audio.mp3 and paste it in system/media. If u r on cm7 u can just download boot animation changer from market and install sound binary
I took this from the you tube trailor of nexus ics changed it into mp3 and adjusted its length

Place it in system where your bootanimation lies most probably /system/media or /system/local and give apt permissions
I can flash the animation?
No. To install, simply copy the bootanimation.zip to /data/local (or /system/media, but the other method is better). Your next boot should show the new boot animation.

very cool bootanimation. thanks!
nice, thanks :good:
actually, for the P500 (which is an HVGA device (320x480px)), the bootanimation taken from L5 is better (correct resolution\ratio)

Someone please give me a step by step explanation of how to change my bootanimation. i tried and searched on google but i honeslty dont know what to do. i tried to flash it using CWM but it failed.
Just use a root file manager and place it in system/ media folder and set permissions 644

Hi, I really like bios-style bootanimation, so I created one from scratch, based on other similar ones.
Credits for the idea to the guy who did it first
(not flashable, you have to push it to system/media and change permission to -rw-r--r--)
remember to back up the stock one

This is awesome, thank you. I've never been particularly intrigued to set a custom bootanimation until now...
Very cool, thanks! Except the N5 boots so fast that the animation doesn't have a chance to finish.

mine is slower then
you can change the desc.txt to make the animation faster
1080 1920 30
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
change the 30 (fps) with higher values
This is absolutely senseless, but awesome. Thanks dude.

Get me a 1080x1920 image you want. I'll try to fix it for you...
Have fun.
Put bootanimation.zip in /system/media/ with rw-r-r permissions or flash OnePlus_One_Bootanimation_Flashable.zip in your custom recovery.

I also used @bitdomo's boot logo tool. It aligns perfectly with the bootanimation.

Edit: Added inverted, white background version.

It's possible, I haven't looked into it. People have had lag/stutter with the L developer preview bootanimation on some ROMs but not others. Probably the same thing if it lags with this one. There's a way to fix it but I have no idea lol.
I noticed some lags in bootanimation with some kernels...
Looks cool. How do I remove it if I want to later?

Bootloader image is removed by flashing the stock one from the thread I linked in OP, bootanimation is removed by reflashing ROM or replacing the bootanimation.zip
ふかつどう
Thanks. Flashed both for cyanogenmod using MultiROM, looks awesome and for some dumb reason I thought the boot logo would only be there for cyanogenmod. Guess how I felt when I booted up into PA.

Added inverted, white background version of both the bootanimation and bootloader IMGDATA.
Will a quick window case work for Cloudys g3 ROM? If not what do I have to do to make it work? I am in love with this ROM and dont want to change. Thanks in advance.

quickwindow does work with g2 on g3 ported roms, cloudyg3 already includes modded quickwindow so that it is square and there is a mod to make it square in the g2 themes and apps section for those on other g3 ported roms
update: cloudyg3 no longer include quickwindow just quickcircle
