Hey ho Folks,
I'm a Flashmaniac since i got my SGS2 2 1/2 years ago and used 10+ different Roms.
I've got my new SGS4 Since yesterday, rooted 5 min after i unboxed it... put CM 10.1 on,
recovered all apps from my Old one and i'm nearly happy.
But!
I've like to get some of the Original Samsung apps back on... like the TV Remote or SmartStay ...
I searched here to get a dump of all apps but couldn't find them...
Therefor ... does anybody know how i get them, ether from an original Rom image or elswere?

CM framework is different from Touchwiz one, so you can't use samsung features/apps on CM, thats a cons from using CM

Hi all, I came from Jedi ROM on my Note 2 where it seemed to have the following feature baked in...
I am looking for "settings shortcuts" to be added when you long press homescreen - add - shortcuts(list)
example - This makes it so I can add Battery to my homescreen
Also, is there anything that will list a shortcut to a customizable folder to auto open when tapped?
example - add folder to homescreen as a shortcut rather than an app like "Folder Organizer"

I believe what you are looking for will only be found with the nova launcher right now. Touch wiz doesn't have it.

Thanks for the response. The ROM that I was on that had it(Jedi) was TW based 4.1.2 so there's gotta be a way to incorporate it into TW somehow...

Yeah he always calls it Jedi launcher but in his aroma installers i remember it saying tw 5x6 modified
You definitely could be right though that it's something completely different than what we have on our Note 3
now that we have SS working, anymore possible options to get Settings added to the Shortcuts list?

1. I have ordered my Note 3 with the watch and was wondering if there are any custom roms for the watch ?
I did look but i couldn't find any so i am thinking they are there but i am looking for the wrong name
2. The Note 3 watch is limited to Samsung stock apps so you cannot read the gmails from gmail app nor can you use any other app for sms then the stock sms app.
Have anyone done any work on this issue so we can use the watch with other then stock apps ?
3. Could someone please explain to me what the forum "Galaxy Note 3 Exynos Android Development" is about ?

yes there are custom ROM's and there is a subforum for the watch:

for the 3rd question; the note 3 comes in two variants, Exynos processor and snapdragon processor, (SM-N900) and (SM-N9005)

I've enabled my watch to read/notify messages from BBM, GMAIL, & Whatsapp. Replies only work with stock SMS.

i know that there are threads available for making the note look like an s5 like the settings UI, weather etc, but will we ever see an official update from samsung themselves?

Is there any way to take a long screenshot similar to how it's done on Note 5? I've seen it on Note 5, and it's very handy. Would love the same feature on Note 3.
There is that feature, I know I've used it before... Just search for it, sorry I can't help you find it because I don't renember...

hi dude.just install note 5 ported rom for note3 eg phronsis6.1 for n 9005 and enjoy this option

My Note 3 is of SM-900 variant. Don't think Phronesis ROM is compatible with the Exynos SoC. Do you happen to know any SM-900 ROM which has the same feature built in?
You should download comptible ported rom for 900
