Do you know about Online APK Downloader?with online apk downloader you can download every free apps on google play store on your coputer.
For all of us using an Android device , we already know that the Google play store limits the download of android apps and games only via an android phone or other android devices . Even if Android supports sideloading of apps and games , Google has always restricted the direct downloads of apps from the play store as apk files .
Google is doing the best to protect our android devices and the reason behind android apps not being available to download as apk files , is to prevent the spreading of virus and malwares by sideloading of apps from the outside of the play store .
Although downloading apps on an android phone is very easy , but if your data connection is slow , you won`t be left with any option apart from waiting for the crawling downloads to complete until you can use your favorite apps or games . Fortunately there is a workaround which will allow you to download Android apps and games as apk files from the Google play store .
android apps are packaged as APK files. You can use any File Manager app to copy these files from the computer to your Android device and then touch the .apk file to install, or sideload, the corresponding app on your device.

is there a way to get the hbo go app that firetv uses you dont need a mouse to use it

Thanks you soomuch
What about Firefox ?

Here is a simple and best way
http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/

For your interest, I downloaded a sample APK both from http://apkleecher.com/ and http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/.
Checksums are identical. That might make previous claims that Evozi adds malware (I read it somewhere) not so plausible.

Okay.
I might not be fully getting this whole 'download APKs from 3rd party sources. thing. I made a little experiment: I downloaded one AKP from 4 sources, here are the results:
http://www.aptoide.com/ and https://apkpure.com/ - the same cryptographic hash for the pair, smaller APK file size, compared to the other pair.
http://apk-dl.com/ and http://freeapkpro.co/ - the same cryptographic hash for the pair, larger APK file size, compared to the other pair.
Now, what's the difference in APK file sizes, by pair? Maybe they add the same malware? Hopefully not!
Sangeet007 - http://apkleecher.com/ didn't work at all for this test. Any why did you put this thread in the Sony forum in the first place?

Installing Amazon apps

1.Make an account for Amazon; you'll need to put a credit card into the account and have to turn on 1 Click
2.You'll well need to download: Download All Files from Android Market Place

"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
3.Download Android SDK
and extract it the C drive.
4.Download HTC Sync
and switch connection type to HTC Sync doesn't matter if it fails
5. copy the amazon appstore.apk to the tools folder. (C:\sdk\tools). DO NOT rename the files.
6. Open up a command prompt on your PC (In windows it's start, run, cmd) and change to the tools directory.
cd\
cd sdk\tools
After you change to that directory the prompt should say: c:\sdk\tools.
(if you don't want to keep doing this then Create a shortcut for CMD.exe on your desktop. Right click the CMD.exe shortcut and go to Properties.
In the Start in: bar, type in the directory C:\sdk\tools)
7. Type adb devices to verify that your computer can see the phone. If everything is working you should get a response that looks something like this:
List of devices attached
HTxxxxxxxxx device
8. Once you verify that the computer and phone are connected type the following:
adb install nameofapp.apk (obviously changing the nameofapp part to whatever the file is named). should say success when its finish
9. Now open the amazon app and sign in, download any free app like Angry Birds Rio when its finished it will prompt you if you want to use installer or download all files choose download all files the apk will be downloaded to sdcard( if you get an error then go to amazon and purchase the app you want through there and open the amazon app on your phone while signed in to start download)
10 Switch the connection type to disk drive and look for the apk in the download folder and do same as Step 5,and 8 but before that switch the connection type to HTC Sync once again.
11.When its finish checked if it worked and you should be finish
By the way I don't claim the third party installation I just took a combination of things

you didnt do anything wrong. Thats how I did it too.
I just used the directions from the link below and used the 2d bar code on the top right to download the amazon app store.
It was a lot simpler to do then the directions provided in the first post
Code:
www*amazon*com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000626391
You will have to replace the * with a . if you copy and paste the contents of the code box
You all have rooted phones with the ability to use non-Market apps enabled, so of course Amazon Appstore will work naturally for you. This guide is intended for those using stock Arias that can't install .apk files directly on the phone because the ability to install apps from "Unknown sources" is disabled.
I have a rooted Aria and I still can't use it. I downloaded it without a problem, downloaded the free Angry Birds Rio app, and haven't been able to get it to work since then. Every time I open the Amazon app market app on my phone, it crashes. Dunno what the problem is.
Hm, nevermind. Just tried uninstalling and reinstalling the store app. Seems to be working now. We'll see how it goes this time!
Yup, this works on a stock Aria running 2.2. Did it on two seperate phones, and it works like a charm.
Tried another way to install amazon apps today and found it much easier.
Requirements: Amazon App Store, Android Injector, USB cable
1. Purchase or download app from amazon app store (personally did this with todays app of the day). Once downloaded, a pop up will notify you that it couldn't be installed because of the unknown source.
2. Connect your phone to your PC as a Disk Drive and turn on USB Debugging (Settings, Applications, Development)
3. Locate the .apk file at G:\Android\data\com.amazon.venezia\cache (replace G with the correct drive title for you)
4. Copy the .apk to your desktop or somewhere easy to find
5. Open Android Injector, select the .apk file on your desktop, install.

APK Downloader is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to download Android APK files from Android Market to your PC
See it in action:
Download and Install: APK Downloader 1.2.1 *USE AT YOUR OWN RISK*
Requirement: Chrome 17 or later
* Please read and follow this instruction carefully before using, or it WON’T WORK *
After installed APK Downloader, you’ll need to follow these steps in able to use it
I. Disable SSL error warnings
If you don’t do this step, the extension WILL NEVER WORK.
Below instruction is for Windows users. For OS X and Linux users, please read this post ( replace –remote-debugging-port=9222 in the example with --ignore-certificate-errors )
1. Right click on Chrome shortcut, select “Properties”
2. Switch to “Shortcut” tab. In “Target” field, insert [space]--ignore-certificate-errors at the end. Once you have that finished, click “OK” .
It will look something like this: C:\…\chrome.exe --ignore-certificate-errors
Close Chrome and open it again with that shortcut
3. Open APK Downloader Options page. If your screen looks like the right picture ( the warning box is gone ), then you disabled SSL error warnings successfully
II. Enter email and device ID on Options page
1. There are two ways to get Email and Device ID
a. Easy way: install this Device ID app, it will show you your emails and Device ID
b. Difficult way: Open dial pad, call *#*#8255#*#* ( 8255 = TALK ). If it opens “GTalk Service Monitor”, find lines that begin with JID and Device ID. Your email is JID, and your device id is a string that after android- prefix
For example: if it shows android-1234567890abcdef , then your device ID is 1234567890abcdef
Do not type in random email or device ID, it won’t work
2. Enter your email’s password, then press Login. If everything is ok, now you can use APK Downloader
III. Start using
After finished two steps above, you can start using APK Downloader. Open Android Market, view any FREE apps ( for example: Simple Text ), then press the APK Downloader icon on address bar ( see screenshot )
IV. FAQs:
Is is against Android Market’s ToS?
- I’m afraid that it is. Please read Section 3.3 for more information. So again, you at your own risk.
Where is the Options page?
- Click on the Wrench icon on the toolbar, go to Tools -> Extensions. Find APK Downloader. At the end of its description, you’ll see a link to Options page.
Why do I have to enter my email, password and device ID? Does it store or send my password to another place?
- The extension only stores email, device id and Android Market cookie in Chrome local storage, on your computer. To be able to get Android Market cookie, it needs your email and password to login at https://www.google.com/accounts/ClientLogin . After it’s done, password is not stored, email is stored to display on Options page, Device ID and Cookie are stored for later requests. I do not send those information to another sites.
Why don’t you just put one account in the extension, so we don’t have to use our information ?
- That’s good for users, but not for developers like us. For example, when 1000 users download same app, it only counts 1.
Why do I have to disable SSL error warnings first?
- This extension needs to send data to https://android.clients.google.com/market/api/ApiRequest . If you don’t disable that warning, Chrome will display an error page, and there is no way to make this extension work.
Is it safe to disable SSL error warnings?
- It’s safe if you know what you’re doing. Please notice that it only disable SSL warnings, not disable SSL protocol.
But I recommend that you should create two separate Chrome shortcuts. One with and one without –ignore-certificate-errors flag.
Again, do you collect our information?
- I don’t want to get into trouble by collecting users information, so I try not to have it in any way. The only thing I’m collecting is which apps are downloaded by users. You can view the source code to make sure about this.
Can it download apps that not available in my country or not compatible with my device?
- The answer is yes, because it uses T-Mobile operator code.
Can it download paid apps?
- No, of course not, unless you purchased it with your logged account before. Please remember this isn’t a tool for pirating.
Why do you make this extension?
- I’m an Android developer. While working on my new project, I have to decompile some apps on Android Market. Everytime I want to decompile one, I have to download it to my phone, use Astro to backup it to SDCard, connect phone to PC, then copy the apk file. That’s a really long and painful to me, because I have to do it over and over again. That’s why I come up with this idea.
V. Changelogs:
1.2.1: 03/07/2012
Switches from android.market.com to play.google.com
1.2: 02/27/2012

[HOW TO] Download files from the market store over 20MB via only 3G/4G without WiFi

Microsoft has established a limit on the size of downloaded files via 3G/4G transmission - we can downloaded only file to 20MB. I writed tutorial how to download files 20MB> from the market store and install them.
All operation, I show on one free game Throne Together (29MB).
1. We have to have:
- Pocket File Manager,
- device with supported microSD card,
2. We need link to the xap file, not only link to the market store.
Eg. link to the game is:
Code:
http://www.windowsphone.com/pl-pl/store/app/throne-together/3f89b6b3-516f-40e3-8937-4577d6911c8b
Link to the xap games is:
Code:
http://www.windowsphone.com/pl-pl/store/app/throne-together/3f89b6b3-516f-40e3-8937-4577d6911c8b[COLOR=Red][B]/xap?apptype=regular[/B][/COLOR]
The difference is only in the final text (red on the above). Copy link to the game.
3. Run Pocket File Manager and from the bottom beam on main page we select "Dowloads":
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4. In next window, from the bottom beam we select "+" sign:
5. In next window, paste copied link to the market store and add at the end text: /xap?apptype=regular and confirm:
6. In next window we tap "play" sign on the bottom beam and downloading in progress:
7. Next, we have to find downloaded file in the location like on the screen:
8. Tap and hold finger on the file and from the context menu select copy or cut:
9. Now, paste copied file to the sd card location:
10. Now we go out from the Pocket File Manager and restart device.
11. After restart phone run market store and tap sd card. Copied file should there be in there. Select him and install, thats all.
Clever, if time-consuming, hack. Surprised you need the full reboot; it should be enough to just (re)launch the Store app, since users could copy XAPs to the SD card at any time over USB.
However, you may want to mention in the thread title the requirement of the SD card. The majority of WP8 models (not such how many actual phones, but most of the phone varieties) don't have an SD slot.
In any case, the place where this restriction is set seems to be analogous to where it was on WP7, so I'd like to create a homebrew app that will take care of it directly (by modifying the store config files). However, this will require an interop-unlocked phone, whereas your approach works on any phone with an SD card.

Yes of course, but without restart device we need long time to wait for show app on the sd card in the market store. Restart device shortens the time to wait. Microsoft wrote:
Note If you've just inserted the SD card or added the .XAP files, you might need to wait a few minutes before you can access your SD card from the Store.

Would be nice, but my L1520 haven't interop unlock and I don't know when it is unlocked
Anyway, for me that method it's good at this moment.
BTW for WP7.X to increase the download limit, we can change two xml file in the location:\My Documents\Zune\PimentoCache\Keepers:
These files is:
Downloaded_MOConfig.xml
LKG_MOConfig.xml
We have to find below string in them:
id=”MaxDownloadSize”>20
and change the value 20 to higher eg. 200
I was one of the people who found those files on WP7, and possibly the first to make use of them... believe me, I know. They're in a different location on WP8, I believe under EDMCache (I forget the exact path, though it's easy to find again). They *might* offer an easier option than external HTTPS proxies for installing apps from other stores.

I am aware of that
My method is a legal way to the download apps from the market store and we don't need using proxy servers, but if anybody find other and easier method to download file over 20MB eg. edit registry or system file, without interop unlock will be nice.

[MOD][TEMPLATE] APK-Patcher Lite

APK-Patcher Lite
Flashable Zip Template for Modifying System APKs On-Device
Based on APK-Patcher by @osm0sis
Information
This is a modified version of APK-Patcher that will delete / inject files into System APK files instead of using a baksmali / apktool method.
The method used here is a similar method used in my ROMs to patch files, where instead of having to have like for example 4 SystemUI files, I only needed to keep the actual files that were changed.
This method could also be used quite easily to apply OTA updates or addons on already pre-modified APK files.
LINK TO GITHUB (STANDARD): https://github.com/djb77/APK-Patcher-Lite
LINK TO GITHUB (MAGISK): https://github.com/djb77/APK-Patcher-Lite_Magisk
Usage
Copy your pre-compiled resource files (including .dex files) to the patch folder, removing the .apk part of the filename (ie: SystemUI)
Create a file in scripts with the same name (ie: SystemUI.sh) if you want to delete any existing files from the APK
Make edits to envvar.sh, and also to extracmd.sh if needed
Properties / Variables (envvar.sh)
banner="";
apklist="";
apkbak=/data/media/0/APK-Backup;
backup=1;
cleanup=1;
banner is the name of your patch zip, usually suggestive of what it does, to be displayed at the beginning of the zip flash. You should include your name/handle here like "by osm0sis @ xda-developers" for credit purposes.
apklist is a string containing the list of APKs to be patched included in the patch zip, separated by spaces between the quotes. Each APK is automatically found recursively in /system, then copied to the working directory to be decompiled and acted on, then copied back to /system.
apkbak is the location to place backups of the untouched APKs in apklist if backup=1 is set.
backup=1 will store backups of the untouched APKs in the location specified in apkbak.
cleanup=0 will keep the zip from removing it's working directory in /tmp/apkpatcher - this can be useful if trying to debug in adb shell whether the patches worked correctly. cleanup=1 is necessary on multi-APK patching zips, so it's recommended each APK to be patched be tested on their own with cleanup=0 before combining into a single zip.
envvar.sh
Modify the envvar.sh to add your banner, apklist, backup and cleanup options
Multiple files can be patched, put a space between the filenames (ie: apklist="file1.apk file2.apk"
extracmd.sh
Modify the extracmd.sh to add any additional commands to be performed at the end of the patching process that aren't patch-related (/data file changes,
scripts/$apkname.sh
fileremove="";
$apkname is the name of the folder that you put your resources files in. Copy scripts_sample.sh and rename it to your APK (ie: SystemUI.sh)
Multiple files can be deleted, put a space between the paths (ie: fileremove="/res/drawable/file1.png /res/drawable/file1.png"
Good job, mate. Usefull for a 5-SystemUI ROMs :highfive:
Good job as usual..... mate
Nice one mate
Can't wait to try it out
Well done, good job bro [emoji106]
Can I use this to get more coins in wonka's world of candy?

Could this modify an apk's screen orientation?
For months i've been trying to get USTVHUB to open on my Shield TV on 8.0 but wont because the app only opens in portrait mode-meant for phones only.
This app works on my S7 or phones. But no matter which screen orientation app i try, and tried editing code, the app crashes every time on my Shield tv because that's landscape mode.
If the OP app wont work for this can someone point me in the direction of something that would work to change an apk's screen orientation?

My module will work if you give it the right files to inject, what files/resources my module injects into an APK is your responsibility.

Its crashing all the time, every 5s I have error on the screen. I took some more pictures from settings, meaby thats will help.
Set it back to factory settings, set up an internet connection, set up your google account and don´t do anything else than start the play store and wait for updating your system. the current version will be installed automatically, together with updates of your existing apps.
Don´t install any side loaded version.
I have the same problem. I can't even enter the username because the window disappears after a while. There is also an error when you try to log in via the browser. I tried connect wifi/mobile, remove the sim card, clear the cache, data, various versions of play services, even unpacked the apk files from the opengapps package and installed whatever I could, still without success. I would like to share logcat, but I have no idea how to connect to a computer via adb.

Let me know if u will find out how to fix it plzzz
At the moment I have little progress. I was able to get an adb connection via cable. (There are three dots in developer options and you need to change usb mode). I granted the logcat application privileges, but I don't know what to look for. With the "error" and "google" filters I have failed to find provider info for com.google.android.setupwizard.partner.
BUMP
Try the latest version of Google play services on apkmirror.com again
There is a lot of versions to download, with one should I chose?
