Been having this problem on a few eb13 roms. When I go to download an .apk file from a web site it cancels immediately and says content not supported on phone. I've allowed unknown sources and can't seem to find any other common problems... Thanks for any help

Download astro file.manager on your phone. Open it up and hit the.menu button. Select more then.preferences. scroll down and you'll see a box that says allow browser downloads. Click it. Now you can download the.apk.

Negatory. As of now, the Battery Mod app is SRF-exclusive.
That's why your **** rocks!

You can also just use a market browser instead of the stock one.

You can also download the app "Download All Files" which will add a TON of extensions to your phone, will allow pretty much any download.
I haven't seen a thread on this and have not done this before. So if I'm posting in the wrong place forgive me.
On the S3 I believe there were a couple if mods for multi window that allowed other apps to be used other than the ones restricted by the device. Is there anything like that for the S4? To the great developers out there can we get something like this?
Many thanks.

Easy way to do it is with this App from the Play Store called "Samsung Multi Window Manager"
XDA wouldn't let me post a link to it on the play store, but just search for it and you can find it easily.
Many thanks to you both!

So Touchless Control has been released on the Google Play store, is there a way to port it?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motorola.audiomonitor
I'm sure it'll find it's way onto other Android devices in the future :good:
Here's a third party app that does the same thing.

Yeah it isn't the same. +1 for porting touchless control but im worried about the negative effect it will have on battery life, the moto x has a dedicated language processing core for a reason.

Its at the bottom. You can try to download it from that crappy ass mega site that doesn't work and won't let you download it. Someone needs to put it on a better link.

I'll wait I can't stand that mega site but thanks i'm just wondering if a few build.prop changes would get this working

I pushed over the apk file from a Toro ROM, set permissions and rebooted. The keyboard works except when you use gestures. It crashes and the keyboard restarts. Anybody know how to fix this? I've tried clearing the app data and it did not help.

I have been using that for the time being, but it's missing the long press for symbols and punctuation that I like.

Some of us do have crappy connections with crappy upload speeds, you know?
Plus, your attitude won't help you in any way. Oh, and in the 6 days you could've gotten all those apps in other ways.
How could i get them?

by not being lazy and learning to look around no offense anyways, you can use this guide to get the system.img for whatever kdz firmware you want the apps from and then use ext2explore to save it as a folder and then just grab all the stuff you want from there
Doesnt work, the program say, that my system.img isnt an image

you are using the ext2explore part of the guide and not the ext4unpacker, the system.img is already in ext4 format all you need to do is open it with ext2explore and then save it as a folder so that you can grab the files you need
People in this forum that are in the know, and just know a thing or two about a thing or two! How did he get a reply lmao
