Is possible? Any question Stock Rom or AOSP?
With the limited Moto X development community and the issues that seem to plague the NON stock based ROMs....I'd say it pretty unlikely you'd see a stable miui for the X anytime soon.

im new to android phones and just got my first last week. Its the droid X
I just rooted it using z4, but i guess now I need to get a ROM/Custom OS on it
Which one is real android OS the way google intended it to be?
You can use fission or gummyjar. They are both pure aosp
As the title says, i wonder if we have a dev who would take the burden of delievering the Moto Maxx community, a stock based custom rom. I mean something deoexed, zipaligned, optimized, debloated, improved here and there the motorola's system for the best and comfortable daily usage.
Thank you and regards.
When I had a custom rom like cm14 or aicp rom, it lags on facebook and other apps.
There is a way to fix the lag on custom roms on moto x pure edition?

No.
I saw they did a rom port 7.1.1 for the moto g 2015 from the g4 play. Was just wondering if anyone is even interested in a ROM port from the g5s/plus for our g5 plus? Would love to see it. Or are devs working to hard on Oreo roms that it just isn't worht it? Love to hear your opinions guys.

Why would anyone do that ? When all the custom ROMs are 7.1.1 and with latest upstreamed kernel.
If you want stock ROM 7.1.1, wait for Moto. They might as well release 8.0 directly skipping 7.1.1 for G5 Plus.

Well just wanted to hear some opinions I just feel like on stock the moto features work better. And having all that together with a more up to date version of android would be nice. Btw both moto g 2015 and moto x play have a lot of support and 7.1.2 roms. But I guess people were still interested in a rom port from the g4 play.. That's why I felt like I needed to ask this. But I do know what you mean

I too personally feel that moto roms work better then custom ROM love to have Moto 7.1.1 rom
I just found out an AOSP Extended 6.5 rom for Moto X(2nd gen).
Can I use it to flash my Moto X Pure(2015) without any problems?
No, ROMs are hardware specific. If you want a custom ROM, you must find one intended for the Pure/Style.
