Hey guys I just made a TWRP backup of a fresh install of the L Release Developer Preview!
Currently uploading to Mega so I'll post a link as soon as it´s done... Also, if anyone knows a better client to upload the files tell me please as this is talking a while
Maybe someone will want to try it for MultiRom

In an effort to keep the boards sane and readable, lets keep all Android L discussion in the original discussion thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794642

Spectrum V1.0 Beta - Lollipop 5.1.1 (FIND 7) PORT

Hello everyone as we all know oppo has ended the color os support and started aosp rom which i found out on their forums as we have same specs ! tried to port it got booted but (unfortunately com. process.andriod error on setup wizard ) help would be appreciated ! p.s touch isnt working too ! current status just boots and gets stuck on setup wizard .
Mod Edit: link removed
You could try deleting setup wizard from recovery after you flash the ROM, before you flash gapps.. Just mount /system in twrp and navigate to that apk and delete it...
i tried the same but same issue ...will anyone plz look into this gapps are included in rom will make a separate patch for it
Thread moved to general, as that's where "shares" belong. But thread also closed as the site with rom violates the GPL, no kernel source posted.
Feel free to contact me if they post their kernel source, and I'll reopen the thread and restore the link.

Custom OxygenOS

Since previous development thread was closed, I've been getting a lot of pms. Everyone thanks for the kind words and for offering me help. Thumbs up for this great community.
The reason I didn't post the link was because my laptop or my upload server let me down. At least that is what I saw when I woke up.
No big deal, thought I would upload it upcoming weekend. But as we all might know, today oos 2.2.1 was released. My custom oos was based on 2.2.x, so I was thinking to rebuild this rom again based on the latest software. Meaning it will take a couple of weeks before it will be ready.
So far this briefing. If you have questions regarding this rom, for now please ask in this thread.
Link to original thread:
COSX
To the features, just add the viper4android... And try to make the files app show the root directory too.
I feel you should post ur 2.2.1 build directly when its ready..take your time and i do support what u stand for!! and if possible add network speed indicator
Since there was no answer to this on the original thread, what do you mean by theme support? Layers?
I'll be patiently waiting for your release
But, for playing purpose, are there any guide somewhere to create a moded rom from a stock rom ?
I've been looking but all i could find was from 2012
I don't think it's as simple a remove/add apks from the rom zip :cyclops:
Request
Please donot remove the stock oos camera which has manual focus iso exposure .... __/\__ please

[ROM][Z3] CarbonROM Nougat 7.1 | UNOFFICIAL | Experimental / Under Development

Hi, I found a ROM around the web of Android Nougat 7.1 for our Z3. It seems is under development but it boots and works. I don't know the issues or problems that it has so I wanted to post it to try it and make known. The rom is here: dl.myself5.de/leo/CarbonROM/
It is not my project, is from Myself5 that I think is user of XDA. All the recognitions towards him.
If this topic is not in the correct forum, please the admins move it.
I'll check that. I have a z3 free to test

That rom IS 5.1 Lolipop, not Nougat.
Are you actually serious?
What do you think, why is there no thread for this already? Everyone I shared this link with I told its very early WIP, and not to share it.
I uploaded the builds so that I can download them to my laptop, and that some people who wanted a 7.1 build were able to use it.
While you even know that those are my builds, you did at no point think about sending a PM to me, asking if its ok to create a thread for it.
With that, I just deleted all prereleases of Carbon from my server, never ever expect me to release some preview or WIP builds again.
That does not only count for leo. Have fun being responsible for the deletion of all testbuilds for leo, aries, sumire and i9100.
@caqo71 that assumption is wrong. CR-5.1 is the internal versioning number for Android 7.1 (same as CM is using 14.1). Those builds were Android 7.1.0_r7.
I reported the thread, hoping to get it closed, and I will reference it every time someone asks me where the preview builds did go to. Have a very fun time on XDA.
EDIT: In case it was unclear: I am not against you posting builds of Carbon on XDA, of cause the whole team invites people to compile Carbon for their devices. What I am sepecifically against here, is that, instead of putting your own effort in here, and compiling it on your own, you made a thread about my builds, which is totally not ok, especially not without asking me.
Thread closed.
You cant just share stuff you find on the internet. You need to follow the forum rules (rule 12) before you decide to share it

TWRP Flashable Oreo thread closed?

Does anyone know why the TWRP flashable Oreo thread was closed by the moderator?
Maybe the mod is pissed it's not available for his region, because there is a link to a download and doesn't appear to be a placeholder thread....unless requested by the maintainer.
I think he is crazy or pissed don't know but the link provided is working fine on other regions too.
The shared beta build is working great here, even the camera over processing seems to have been fixed.
Guys, I'm sorting it out with the mod. Part of the problem is that I saved it first when I didn't have all the links in there, so they may not have seen all the updates. Regardless, there are a couple of things I need to update to be 'compliant', so please bear with me
