Hello everyone,
A couple of days ago, my G900H started disconecting from the networking randomly, until it became unable to read my SIM Card. I tried with another SIM Card but got the same response, so I figured the SIM Card reader (or something from inside) was broken, so I send it to repair with no success. So no, I'm flashing stock roms from another country to see if something's changed and I notice that I have unknown baseband/No IMEI, so I go to EFS Pro to restore a backup I made of my EFS Folder just in case something like this happened, and when I restore it nothing's happening! So I tought that maybe the phone's internal storage is broken (damaged or corrupted). Is this possible? Has anyone experienced something like this?

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar incident with their Wizard -
I've got a MDA Vario, i haven't upgraded the ROM or over clocked it at all, i've just installed a few games and a few applications most recently (Agile).
But over the last couple of days the phone has started reseting itself and today i seem to have loast a load of applications i had installed onto the phone.
Having checkeed the phones storage card, it would seem that the "Program Files" directory on the card has dissapeared!
Does anyone know whats going on and how best to stop it?

Can help you on a solution. but I kinda had the same experience. You may want to specify that the lost programs files are in SD only.
Anyway, previously, just after I've got my Charmer phone, I kinda install everything into it and it causes problems. Some programs causes problems and it hanged my phone and I have to soft reset it. I keep on trying and reseting my phone
and later, I've noticed that files in my SD files are lost. I experience twice, once I lost everything in the SD and later I only lost the Program Files dir of the SD.
So, what I think is.. before you soft reset, remove your SD card. That's what I can do.
Problem may be being caused by Agile Messenger
Sounds like a solution.
But i figured something i had installed recently had started causing the phone to reset, since having this problem i have uninstalled Agile and the phone seems to have stopped reseting randomly.
Therefore, is there a program similar to Agile out there that doesn't screw up your phone? If so, what?
i had a similar problem before. What happened with me is several folders disappeared, whether i tried to view them on the devices explorer/resco explorer or even in a memory card reader, but the memory for those files missing was still being used. So i had to use a recovery program called GetDataBack and plugged the card into a memory card reader and it scanned it and recovered everything.

I have a Gene in which i am using a 2 GB mini-MMC card.
Once in 2-3 days my gene loses the data on the card and shows some strange charecters with 1 GB or 2 GB size.Usually multiple folders with such strange characters are found.When i soft reset the card is shown normally.But after 2-3 months even softreset does not work.Then i have to format my card and start from scratch.3 times i have done hard reset but without any effect.I am not using any cracked software.I removed all third party software but still the same thing continues.
So i need your advice as
1. I cannot send the phone to repair as the nearest service center is 1000 km away.
2. I am not able to try another card as my mini-mmc is stuck inside the Gene( Damn the person who conceived this idea of putting the storage card space in an inaccesible position )
Please my dear friends. Any tidbit of idea can save my phone

I read somewhere that partitioning will resolve the issue but I just couldn't get to do it. There are guides everywhere to tweak the registry to fool the OS into thinking that your storage card is not a removable drive and then partitioning it, but I just can't get to do it. It shows me a drive with only 52mb space!?!
Anyways, this is a gene issue and we need to get it resolved. If anyone out there knows anything about it, please help.

After successfully experimenting with somany options atlast i have found the answer for the card corruption.
IT WAS DUE TO MERRIAM WEBSTER( SLOVOED ) DICTIONARY WHICH I HAVE USED FREQUENTLY-BOTH UNABRIDGED&MEDICAL.
I have removed them 1 week back and nomore card corruption since then.
So there is an issue with slovoed and WM5 ppc.
If anyother members having similar problem try this option.

Why does my phone says phone storage is not mounted? I tried everything from factory data reset to the PHV ( Power + Home + Volume Up ) buttons. And it seems nothing is working. I have been looking for answers for days. And i dont think anyone has this problem than me. Im the only one with the problem. SD Card is not reading as well. I tried my SD Card on my wife's SM-N900 ( same as mine ) and it work well. Nothing happened. Is there any solution to this? Please help me solve this issue. Thank you for your time. /;

I tried to download something from WhatApp and it says " Download Failed : Cannot download because no internal shared storage is available. Please unmount it as a disk drive and try again". I never did do anything and it unexpectedly became something like that. Is there no solution to this issue ?

It might be a hardware problem specific to your phone - a bad contact or something similar. Test with 2-3 different micro-SD cards that all are (recently) tested and working fine in other phones.

I did try my wife's SD Card and it went well . And used mine on my wife's phone. But the main problem is that the Phone Storage in not available. How do i correct this hardware problem?

Does the card work (is it seen) in another phone? If yest try to format it on the pc and see if it is recognised then in the N3, if not the card may be damaged.

Yes it worked well on other phone's via alcatel. So it means that there's something wrong with my hardware right ? How do i change the firmware? Maybe something went wrong with its firmware? It has never fell before since its brand new..

My note 3 was doing fine and for past few days suddenly the sd card is not getting recognised and am not able to find which application got updated latest to cause this problem. Please suggest me the solution to this.
I did the card formatting as well factory reset the phone. Still the phone gives message as Blank SD card.
SD card reads in PC and in other phones.

Hi suddenly the SD card starts functioning and today it goes on and off means, sometimes it reads by itself and other time it gives blank sd card.
My note 3 is not rooted and Samsung guys informed that warranty ceases with rooting.
Can I have other workaround without rooting.

I have the same problem with my samsung Gio model: m290k..when i inserted SD card it does not show in my phone, however same SD card is operate in other models..when i try to download whatsapp pictures same message appear on the screen..

I am stuck in same problem when i was massing arround with adding users on my intex aqua power ... i accidently unmounted my internal storage i cant even see my sdcard ... BUt I have terminal emmulator installed on my phone and i can navigate arround my memory card and internal storage /// I took my back up of my memory card in my PC then i copied all the folders from internal storage to sd card and again took backup of it!! It worked for me ... I did get my files back But still coude't mount my sd card or internal storage!!!
So, I've got a weird problem. Anything moved to my SD within the phone OS is deleted (or super hidden, non accessible), pretty much instantly. If I copy something over from internal storage it will be gone very quickly, it just disappears, no errors, just gone. I have not done a factory restore and would like to avoid if possible, but if needed I can easily do it. It is rooted on 4.4.2, pretty much the only thing I have done to it using root capabilities is to enable external SD card access through apps other than My Files. I know something I did there could easily have messed this up but I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi! This is a very sad (and weird) problem, my sister has this phone and she has been using it for a while but a week ago she decided to buy a new SD card because she was running out of space. Everything was fine, I inserted the SD on it and the phone asked me if I wanted to move the files from the phone to the SD card. I accepted and the phone started moving them. I thought that it was safe to do that but I felt terrible when my sister told me that there were many missing files, in the case of the photos and images there are some of them that "appear" in the gallery but they are corrupted files and it's impossible to open them. In the case of the audio files there aren't any of them and they actually disappeared from both phone and SD card. I hope that you can help me because I don't know what to do.:crying:

hey have you tried using some recovery software on your computer? there is a good chance that a recovery software might be able to recover your data. i once recovered data from a corrupted hard drive on my mac, i don't remember the software's name though.
