[Q] sprintWEB Bookmark - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I've looked through a few of the posts here and elsewhere, none of which helped me get rid of the sprintWEB bookmark. Has anyone recently been able to figure out why this bookmark can't be deleted in the stock browser?? I'm rooted running 4.3 on raw's rom. Not a biggie but man it's driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Using GE MMS.apk on MF3

Hello I wanted to see if anyone has had any luck getting stock android MMS.apk to work on MF3? On MDL I was able to just drop it in /system/app change permissions and it would work. I tried to do the same on MF3 and it didn't do anything. I renamed it to SecMMS.apk and it kept crashing and it took away the time on the my lock screen...would this be due to the new Samsung KNOX? I knew what I was getting myself into when I updated to MF3 (i'm still rooted) and its not a deal breaker for me if I can't use android MMS but i'd prefer it. Any help would be appreciated.
Bump? Anyone?

[Q] SPH-L720T Back to Stock but Google's Going Nuts

Hi,
I recently got my L720T flashed back to stock, and it was working fine until I logged into my Google account. Now, pop-ups from all the apps saying they unfortunately stopped keep coming up - so much that I can't even use my phone anymore.
Has anyone encountered this before? Was wondering if your guys know of a fix for this? This isn't a gapps flashing thing, right?
Note: It was only flashed to stock, nothing else ... does that mean it isn't rooted anymore?
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and if it has, sorry for the duplicate thread and could you direct me to where the answer might be?
Thanks in advance.
Go into settings and to Google account andnwipe cache and data on it.

[Q] Dualboot?

Hello all.
I've been lurking a little bit for dualboot but I haven't found any good solutions.
I saw a recovery called SafeStrap but I just couldn't get it to work. It didn't say HOW you install it and I just got mad at the whole thing and I'm wondering now if there is another way than SafeStrap? I would like to install CM and have TW as well but when I isntalled it via SafeStrap I got black screen, I have no idea if I have to have CM installed or TW when I start the process... Worst install description I've ever read.
But with that aside, is there a way to do this without the hard way?
Thanks in advance, BunnyPig.
P.S. I've also searched the forums but all I can find are either SafeStrap or months old topics, don't want to bring them up so I'll just start a new thread about it.
Bumping to see if someone missed this.

[Q] X-Note build18 NF4 on N900T-Kernal&WiFi Fix Bootloop

I am confident this problem has been answered before, and I sincerely apologize in advance for the inconvenience, I have spent 3 hours searching the forums for an answer.
I just today got an N900T, and am trying to flash X-NOTE build18.0 NF4-N9005 onto it. I have read the guide on how to: How to get N9005 roms to work on N900T(Tmo) here, and am stuck in a frozen boot amimation.
I dont know if this is the most updated way of fixing the WiFi/BT/NFC issues, and was wondering if I can get some help.
I am having a really hard time deleting the lines of code in the updater-script file, and was wondering if there was an alternative way to fix the Wifi/BT issues only?
I will continue to try to update this file and re-flash with the N900T_Compulsion_Kernal_6.0_ULTIMATE, and the N900W8 KK WIFI-NFC Fix zips, but was wondering if i can get some advice?
If nothing a link to a thread or post somewhere would be EXTREMELY helpful.
Thanks in advance!

This was the problem. I could not get this kernal to work in any way. I flashed the lk_hltetmo-kk-v3.7 kernal, and it worked like a charm.

[Q] Stock email apk needed, please

Greetings!
I apologize for my first post being a request, but i have long benefited from the knowledge, creativity, and insights here at xda, and I am hopeful I can come here for some help with this as well. I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. It's incredible. Only glitch is, for some reason, the stock email app (which I like very much as it is "identical" to what's on my Samsung Galaxy S5) is only version 4.1, even after all the updates, and not version 4.4.2.0400 like on my SG5. My main gripe is I really want to be able to a) use the stock email app on my tab pro; b) to swipe away emails. It's this latter point that I'm trying to remedy.
My tab pro is NOT rooted, nor do I plan to root it. I've done some sleuthing online for a while here and found information about JAR files, etc., all of which is beyond my knowledge. I am hopeful it will be as simple as someone being able to pull the stock email apk file from the SG5 and posting it up so all I need to do is install the apk file over top of what is already on my tab pro. If someone can help me with this, so my tab pro stock email version is updated to 4.4.2.0400 and I have the ability to swipe away emails, it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for this reply. I have indeed found those very same sites you link to (my thanks, regardless). The reason I asked was to see if there was a way to get it on here without having to root. Apparently that is impossible, then?
I may do some reading on rooting, but I'm not interested in deleting everything and starting over again. I rooted my old moto droid years ago without issue, but I've become a bit intimidated by the front end process setup on the computer to get that set. I'm sure there is a super easy 1 click root option or something. I'll do some sleuthing, again, but I welcome any help.
Still learning, and glad to be here.
Thanks!

Fair enough. But to clarify, I don't need to root the S5 but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 to get this app on. Not sure if there is an "easy" root method for that that would allow me to not delete everything and start fresh again.
I'm honestly quite puzzled why this, even with the 4.4.2 update, doesn't have the same email version. And I really wish I had the S5 calendar and email widgets not a part of the magazine ux on the tab pro. I'm aware rooting can give me all this, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble, especially when I read up and see other people having collateral issues.
Thanks!

Sorry my bad, didn`t read the whole post and thought you meant the S5 . As said above you need root to install/alter system files.
