[Q] Cyanogenmod unable to show status bar in app - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

With the latest nightlies, I'm unable to slide down the top of the screen to show the status bar when I'm in a full screen app. Is it a bug or do I need to change something in the settings?.

[Q] notification in bottom

can i get notification in bottom of my mini cm x8 screen?
In CM7 there is an option to set notification bar on bottom of the screen but I don't think that you can do that with CM6 (miniCM,floyo,etc.)...

[Q] remove battery indicator bar above the notification bar

I have been trying to remove this battery status indicator above the notification bar. I just flashed chromi-x and cannot figure out what I changed to make this bar appear (orange/red dashed bar in the attached image), I really don't like how it looks and would like it gone. Does anyone know what I did to make this show up?

Finally found it in the android tuner app. I honestly thought flashing cromi-x would have a greater impact on the tablet than it has, maybe it will take some time for me to discover its full potential.

It should have been in settings as well. In PAC-man its under Pacman->battery->battery bar. Idk about Cromi-x

Thin green line above notification bar?

There's a small thin green line between the notification bar and where the screen ends. It starts at the top left corner, ends about an inch or so to the right. I'm sure it's not a hardware problem because the position of the green line depends on the orientation of the phone. What could be causing it? It doesn't show up in screenshots.
edit: there doesn't seem to be anything downloading either, so i don't think it's a progress bar. Tried rebooting.

Amazing. I am stupid. Yes, that was it, thank you.
For those curious/anyone who stumbles upon this thread in the future- I'm running X-Note, and you can get rid of the battery bar in the X-Note Control menu.

[Q] C-ROM 4.4.4 lockscreen problem.

Hey everyone. I'm currently using the latest version of C-ROM. When my lock screen comes up the status bar or notification drawer is still showing and I am unable to get rid of it. The reason why I want to delete it is because if you click on a recent notification or hit settings it unlocks the phone without a passcode! Anyone else figure this out and have a resolution? Thanks!

Is there a way to hide the status bar by adb command?

Just like the title says I would like to hide the status bar by adb command. If anyone knows the command for it please post. The one for the 7pro doesn't work.

Figured I'd update this
I found somewhat of a solution. There's an app in the playstore called fullscreen mode tool with keyboard support. It's the only app that enables the immersive status bar where the keyboard won't cut into the input box. The only catch is when bringing up the keyboard the input box does a slight jump. To me this is better than burn in from status bar icons. My 8 pro has had the image retention issue with the status bar and I don't want it to lead to burn in which is why I'm going through all this trouble. Hopefully OnePlus can push an update with burn in protection built into oos cause as far as I know there is none.
Hey there, did you get this to work on a Oneplus 8? I just got one and have been trying a few different methods but my status bar persists.

If you want to prevent burn in by removing the status bar icons then just turn off all the toggles under status bar menu within settings. It's called icon manager.
Wouldn't immersive mode remove the status bar?

Where is it ?
I tried system ui tuner it didn't work surprise surprise. Then I ended up just ( thank God that option is made available stock ) going into settings and turning off each status bar icon , so now there's nothing there.

Immersive is broken on 11 for OP8 series devices. I've done some digging and they do something weird in the systemui and it persists the statusbar.
Nova launcher canhid it on home screenonly.
