You should have a TWRP folder on your SD card that SD made. it will be in there

Should I flash recovery or no?

Because I get my sd card, friday and thats when I was gunna flash it, so I could do a nan droid on my sd card, but my phones already rooted, and im getting the itch to flash a rom, plus, my battery life isnt that great, so im hoping a rom will fix that, any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I would suggest since you're already rooted you should flash a recovery just so you can backup stock and efs.
Rom wise, if you want you want better battery life try different roms and kernel combos.
Best of luck

What do you mean Nand weirdly?
The backup you make is just going to go onto your internal storage in your CWM/TWRP folder.
You don't need a sd card to do any of the things you mentioned!

Nothing is going to go wrong without a sdcard card. Like the person above me said it will just go into internal memory.

Installing apps to the sd card on an att galaxy s4

I need a method for installing apps to my sd card on my 16gb galaxy s4. I have tried using the folder mount app but this method only stopped my apps from working. I heard that there had been a ota update released that integrates this into the stock software, but I haven't heard any news about it coming to the att galaxy s4.

So far app2sd has just come out for the I9500/9505. you should be able to run one of the I9505 Roms with no problems.

Folder mount works best way better than apps 2 sd in a rom I have 7 gbs of games moved to my sd card and still have 7gbs free on internal storage with over 100 apps installed

I tried it as well and only ended up with the same game data on both my internal and external memory. I didnt like it either. So I'll wait for the update to come to at&t.

Well I have no issue with using folder mount maybe your doing it wrong plus you do know that apps 2 sd thats on an internation rom will move over the app buth not the data

Nandroid saved to device

I was backing up my stock rom and for some reason (probably my fault) it saved to my internal memory instead of sd card. Can I simply move it over using file explorer? Any help?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
Yes, you can just move it over. You can use the stock my files app if you'd like.

Hi,
Are you trying to wipe your data in order to install a new ROM?
Or are you trying to format your sd card?
They are 2 different things.
Hi
Just the sd card from changing roms I get a lot of leftover files and folders from downloads and apps etc

Hi,
You want to go into recovery.
Mount and storage.
Format external sd.
Make sure you back up your stuff first.
Why would I format ext sd? That woukd be my micro sd memorycard

That's what you asked for in your post "just the sd card"
In s4 there is 2 storage areas internal storage and external storage which is the sd card...

@cameracartwright
If you want to format your internal SD card using PhilZ CWM do the following:
Mounts and storage/ format SD card.
However there is no need if you install an app from Play Store called SDMaid, it's awesome!!
Go to 'corpse finder' and it cleans out your phone of left over crap from previous apps and roms

[Q] Can't move apps to sd using SACs custom rom v4.1 [SOLVED]

I'm having issues moving apps to my sd card, I keep getting an error not enough space even though I have 59gb available. I've tried reformatting the card in my phone but that doesn't work, any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks!
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
I found a couple articles and forms saying the cause of this could be because of the 4.3 update, has anyone else using 4.3 experienced the following error message when trying to move an app to external sd card "Unable to move app. Not enough storage space"?

Good idea, another user suggested I reformat the sd card using Philz Recovery (I selected exFat format) then rebooted and was able to move apps
