And the main reason of your high Antutu score is that you use Antutu 5.0 beta (you get approximately 10.000 higher score with beta 5.0 than with the latest Play store version of Antutu)

if you asking "what is over clocking" google would help you.
overclock - To run a processor (CPU), or any electronic logic device, at a speed higher than is recommended by the manufacturer

basically it makes your X8 processor run at a faster speed then Sony set it to.

Perhaps he means when using Set CPU app which needs root access ... Personally I can't manually control the freq in CM CPU settings cause it shows nothing but the "Cancel" button.

I can not use the overclock because when I reboot the phone it is on 691Mhz soon after he returns to 600mhz. I know that the CPU clock is dynamic, but he never returns to 691mhz. What did I do wrong? I used the XDA tutorial for overclocking. I'm using Floyo v0.25

Its purely for fun, but if I'm not mistaken the rom I'm on is based off OTA for galaxy nexus NOT an SDK.

Now that it's officially out I have to say that we don't need any benchmark to understand that the difference is minimal.
The boost in Vellamo scores with Jellybean is huge!, super impressive for a single core phone.
The last portion of the rest on vellamo always fails for me. The network bit.

It's 1.4 GHz. I have locked BL. This is from few days ago and already removed app. Will do new test soon and give screen.

No bro, only they updated the Antutu Benchmark to the latest version 4.... Update it and repeat the TEST again :highfive:

I personally recommend FireKernel, but without overclock. Excelent battery life and performance.
