Since apparantly everyone is having Backcover problem, I decided to make a thread on how to fix it(In the Indian Jugaad Way ). Here are some pics(pardon me for the picture quality, I don't have a camera and I can't take a picture of Moto E with itself, unless a use a very wierd mirror mechanism!!)
Before:
After:
Steps:
Cut a paper(any?) 2 cmx2.5 cm in size and fold it halfway so it becomes 1 cmx2.5 cm in size.
And it as indicated in the image.
Place the cover and Viola! Please suggest any other ways to help the people about to ask for a replacement of their phone!!! :fingers-crossed:
What is the backcover problem? I can't see a difference on the pictures.

Seems like to be due to the protective plastic that they have embedded upon the front of the screen.
Certainly you could send it in for a replacement, or perhaps just take it back to the dealer and get an exchange.
P.S. Next time, don't link to another forum and expect a response. Post a proper question with the images linked here and I am sure the fine folks here will lend a hand.

it stains like ink, do you think of this?Is it inside the screen?the phone has a new change. problematic in what
I've dropped my phone on a soft floor. Now there is no visible damage, but when I try to take a picture with the rear camera, I can see a visible line overlaying my picture. I've included a picture as an example.(http://imgur.com/cJrto2B) How can I fix this? (Samsung Repair C is not an option tho, it is the i9500, while here, in the Netherlands, the only variant available is the i9505)
I am in for any DIY option

Is it a hair in front of the lens? Maybe within the body somehow? Hate to suggest it but does it change if you tap it one way or the another at all?
Nope, the line stays static. The line is just to be a hair. Also, I've tried the 4.3 Camera app, but still persists
I got one of these..
I yet can't find a back cover for this.
Only thing i have found are stupid pouches.
If anyone comes across a back cover please post a link, cause the back looks made of very soft plastic one drop and it will get scratched.
Thank you
Backcase found it!!! not quite sure its worth it
Amzer-Pudding-TPU-Case-Black in fommy site
I found a compatible cover.
This is for the micromax A1 ( the other Android One phone we have).
Works perfect though the camera hole look's funny.
It's a Bit Covered but functionality is not hindered

help me guys!! what am i supposed to do with this ? is it sealed enough for IP68 ?
Dude if you have the slightest doubt, just return it.
Ask for a new one, And show them the defect.
if it effects it or not, Am sure you dont want to find out its not water resistant when you need it.
I need help with my Note4's display. I paid a local phone repair shop to fix the cracked glass. when I got the phone back things looked different. most noticeably everything looked washed out, kinda greyish. I took it back to them and they replaced lcd. they said there was nothing more they could do and blamed the issue on the software. I reloaded the original firmware and the phone is now completely stock. I made a test pic with some gradients that confirmed my suspicions. the first pic attached, test2, is my phone side by side with a friends phone displaying the second pic, test. does anyone know what possibly went wrong?
