Well if you have root...try to use a custom firmware.....if you still have warranty you could claim it....best bet is firmware change....unless its a hardware issue....but in this case I think its a software issue....so check into it

I have came across the same issue. I went through the hard way by uninstalling the applications I have dowbloaded one by one to test which application actually cause the issue.
I found that my root cause of the camera failed is go flashlight widget.
I have the same app installed !
thank you buddy , i really appreciate your help

Dudebro.
I was JUUUUUST about to sit down and start reviewing all the apps I use that might cause this issue - and then i clicked one more link, this'n.
THANK YOU! I'm going on vacation with my wife and kids in three days, and I was dreading spending time at T-Mob the day after Christmas.
I hope you get everything you want and MORE tomorrow. Happy Holidays!

Many people have this thing bugging them for months or weeks now..
Either use any rom NON TOUCHWIZ.
Or just go to Application Manager-->All-->com.sec.android.sviewcover
And turn it off a few times..like 3-4 times by going there again and again..
This problem will be solved.
In addition..open the back cover..and you cane remove the screw named L1.
This has been a solution for many too.
Plus there is also an Xposed Module for this..Magnet Off.
Read and flash
Press Thanks if I helped

I have had Samsung replace the mainboard and screen without fixing the problem.
I found that setting mobile network to WCDMA only fixed the problem permanently for me.
When on EDGE and gaming our using BBM I would get the sview clocks flash intermittently.
Hi to all of you.
I have a Galaxy Note 4 N910C the octacore version. The phone is unlocked and unbranded from the box.
Recently I updated to ANK5 firmware. I updated with odin, using the firmware for the original phone product code(ROM).
I always like to make my updates clean so I performed a Wipe Cache and a factory reset after.
The firmware is ok but it seems that is not solving the IR Blaster issue, meaning that after a while the remote control is not working anymore. This can be fixed with a restart so I assume this is a software and not a hardware problem.
Please confirm, those with N910C version if you can reproduce this and eventually if you found a solution to fix this.
Thanks.
N910c my country code is ROM...baseband NK5 . I use it regularly on a sony and two samsung tv's as well for two air-conditioning units. Sounds a little strange as I am not having problems whatsoever...

I'm having problems to. Sometimes I need to press a lot of times the command to make it work. It's clear that is a software issue. Hardware problems looks different than that.

Don't restart the device or clean your memory for 1-2 days and tell me after if it still works.

Try to change your battery and see whether it's still overheats.

I have 2 batteries. One gave me overheats, even though the battery itself is not bulged.
One totally no issues at all.
Same phone, same ROM, same setup, same etc.
You can give it a try. But then again, I might be wrong.
Technical issues can arises from a lot of factors anyway.
I will try, thank you so much for your reply

Try the old modem, the one you didn't have any issues. Otherwise it's samsung's crappy update.
Can i go back to that modem?? No risk?? I changed the csc, changed the sim, changed the carrier, changed 3 batteries... still blowing fire, 80c om the cpu... many times when i use my data plan
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
The only risk is signal issues.
So because of the modem i have the heating problems??
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
It may also the update.
What?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
I may also be related to the lollipop update. Since you did mention that it didn't happen on kitkat. It only started happening since moving to lollipop. So it may also be the update. Go back to kitkat or change to a custom rom and see if it helps.
I tried all, just all custom roms with lolli
