Asking a questions to the gurus in the forum:
I'm familiar with flashing roms to android devices as I have with an old HTC HD2 (4.2.2) and more recently an S4 (4.4.2). So I'm trying to set up my settings to have a secondary column view and recall that to do that I needed to edit the settings.apk file. I looked all over the system\app directory for it, but couldn't find it. I did find a secsettings.apk in system\priv-app. Does secsettings.apk replace settings.apk? I've tried flashing multiple roms and have not come across it. Thanks all!
Anyone?

How To Add Android 4.4 KitKat Platlogo in Sony Xperia SP(all download attachments provided below)
Hi matess, today I am going to tell you a way by which you can insert Android 4.4 KitKat Platlogo in your Android Device. You just have to place 2 important files in your System.
Download the two given files "framework.jar" and "KitKatPlatlogo.apk" given below and then copy these items into your custom rom.
1)Place "framework.jar" in system>>framework folder,then
2)Place "KitKatplatlogo.apk" in system>>app and system>>framework folders both.
3)Make a zip of your CUSTOM ROM and then flash it.
HURRAY You Have Done IT!!!!!!:victory:
This is more for the mods/themes/apps section of the Xperia SP esspecialy since it is just move and replace an file or two

This "guide" will most likely cause problems with some users.
I wouldn't suggest anyone to do this as I'm pretty sure framework.jar differs from ROM to ROM. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Atleast mention on which firmware or ROM you're using this.
Also, you're posting this in the wrong section.

Hello, I want to know, how can I make colorful notification toggles like this image (attachment)? Can anyone help me please. However, I am not a developer, I can edit the code, with your help I can do some modifications in existing files & test them ,but I can't write the new code. New X lockscreen can't be ported to other devices or ROMs without serious framework mods, (I think), and I haven't heard of anyone taking it in yet.
For Xperia apps port, 2 active threads I know of to check out:

Not sure about bootanimation. Personally I would try just deleting current file, and put bootanimation zip in /system/media
I now this theards
But I need one flashable zip for all apps
Any way thank you for replying
