[Q] Which ROM for Instagram? - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is anyone successfully running the Instagram app on the mb525? Which rom are you using?
I'm running CM7.2 on a green lens Defy and Instagram freezes at the 'edit' stage.
I'd try a different rom if someone could recommend a stable one that supports instagram.
Thanks,
mark

Any 4.x ROM should work well for Instagram, you can try CM11 or Slimkat

Which lens red/green and which build you flashed quarx/eppy? For green use eppy froyo builds, for red you can use defy/defy+ builds with appropriate kernels.
Did you try wiping cache of camera app?

[Q] What is the most stable ICS-based ROM for Defy

I have a Defy with green lens and I have the latest WIUI V4 installed. It works good for me because the camera and video recorder are working but there's no radio, the gps can't find my location and the battery gets drained too fast when using wi-fi (as compared to MIUI Pikachu or WIUI Hybrid). So which ICS-based ROM works best for you? Thanks.

Epsylon3 CM9. Only panorama doesn't work...

seconded - epsylon
I'm running 120617 and it's more stable than the various cm7s I used before
+1 for Epsylon3's CM9 ROM.
Ditto

Which version? The latest?
The latest has reboots use the second to last one. I find fuzz builds better tho. The latest fuzz build is stable enough, as in no reboots.

+1 to 0617 build of Epsylon3's CM9

is this still the most stable ICS ? I have suddenly started having problems with my wifi (despite havng this build for several months now).
Could upgrade to CM10 but not that keen due to the hassle of reloading apps, losing settings etc.
Cheers

[Q] Why won't Chrome work with WIUI V4?

I have the latest WIUI V4 installed but the Chrome browser won't work. I was able to set up my google account in it but after that I can't use it. Will it even work with defy using other roms? Thanks!

Defy+ ROM on Defy?

Can I flash the Defy XT or Defy+ ROM on my Green Lens Defy?
Someone link me?
yes you can use Defy+ roms on defy but only if it has 2nd boot.
Eg. MS2Ginger 5, CM10, CM9, Slim Bean, PAC, AOKP, Paranoid, etc.

So, no way to install the stock mb526 2.3.7 ROM?
Actually It's not urgent, as I've upgraded to an xperia Z, but my defy on CM 10 lags very very badly. Almost un-usable. So needed help :/
Don't ever try to install defy+'s stock 2.3.6 on Defy.
Read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216982
About SBF and CG version, if you install stock 2.3.6 on defy, you won't be able to revert back to 2.2 again, let alone many problem like camera won't work or battery stats malfunction.
If You want 2.3+ roms, use custom roms like those hackergnome suggested. (MS2Ginger was a modded stock 2.3.6 and can be used on MB525 without problem.)
Yes MS2 Ginger is the best gb rom in terms of stability!
