Anyone received sw update 12.0.A.2.245 for C5303 from PC

I just received SW update from PC 12.0.A.2.245 for C5303. anyone received this kind of update?

about the new update you can toogle/change notification, have nfc file exchange and the wifi is ok no problem before and after this update but somehow the camera errr.. if you quickly take a picture and you'll get the exact color but if you wait for a seconds before taking a picture it change its color something like yellowish. i noticed that its affecting the light. if the light is direct to the screen you'll get the exact color. i didn't encountered this before the update.
before and after the update I did factory reset but my camera prob is still the same.
I already reinstalled it via PCC but no change my last resort is the SUS

Anyone from india getting this update, i am still in the process of updating.

Just to let everyone know from the information on xperiablog it is still 4.1.2. But it looks like we have the ability to add more toggles in the notification drawer and the navbar is semi-transparent when on the homescreen.
from the features it looks like the same stuff you get in the 4.2.2 update but we are staying on 4.1.2, i guess we are going straight to 4.3.

about the update
what i need to know is
1. will root still be there after update
2. if not will doomlord's exploit able to root it back again?

I think u can flash it.. U will not get the 4G network.. Thats all.. In india its waste... Just try it..

I can confirm this! there is a new update (at least the update checker says that) i'll try and download it as it's available in my country

I confirm that, my country is Lithuania

CE 1 has nothing yet. Funny to see that all the customised version have the update and a few carrier ones.. But no general etc.

i think that is for old 4.1.2 firmware

is it possible to grab system file like frameworks and etc from .ftf file? i mean like what get from System Dump?

D6503 is LTE and D6502 os HSPA version.

DO NOT FLASH IF YOU HAVE THE TAIWAN Z2! It will not read the SIM! Make sure you get the TW version once that comes out! I had to learn the hard way and flash back to the original TW ROM!

So is there an FTF for D6503 floating around? I see screenshots, but only an FTF for D6502.

Taiwan ROM is out D6503_17.1.A.2.55_TAIWAN.ftf

Update: Installed this and it works fine on the Z2 I got from Taiwan. You will have to reconfigure your APN settings even if you didn't do a wipe when installing this ROM. After about 30 minutes of usage I did notice some positive changes:
- The touchscreen sensitivity has improved
- Touch to focus works a lot better (it barely worked on the previous ROM)
- Safari is snappier oops wrong phone

Quick question guys, do xperia phones get otas regularly or do most updates come via the Sony PC software and have to be installed manually. Got a HTC one just now and kinda unfamiliar with the whole process with Sony. If anyone could explain it quickly that would be appreciated.

Depends where you are in the world and what carrier(if any) you have
Z2 ships with kitkat 4.4.2 at the moment......maybe 4.4.3 in some places after the rumoured delay.
Flashtool is your friend if you cant wait for sony to issue OTA's

seems to be a minor bugfix over .283.

I keep getting an error when trying to update 292 OTA on my rooted SPG312 (283). Could root be the problem?

then, it's .283 is the latest one for your customization code. No need to install .292

The device is international, but we have 2 variants.
It launched first with only one carrier Telstra, and then later was sold at one retailer JB HiFi.
I have the original .185 from Telstra somewhere, but I have the .200 .253 .305 Generic, I just haven't bothered uploading them somewhere

Use FlashTool to launch XperiFirm and use it to download the firmware of your choice.
Instructions here under "Upgrading to Marshmallow"
