Two days ago i have decided to root my phone by CF root, then my phone is became laggy, its not that smooth like before, even when im browsing google with dolphin its laggy, even flipping the Touchwiz screen isnt smooth too, should i just unroot the phone or what?
Root in no way effects performance. If all you did was root it's in your head.

Greenify could be it . try uninstalling the framework and restarting.
Yes you need to uninstall Xposed because it's a known issue that it causes massive lag and kills S Health.

Provided that you're rooted and have custom recovery installed. When you first install any ROM/Firmware, have everything set up and running, always do a Nandroid Backup, it will save you tons of time.

Once you did Nandroid Backup, data will be stored in either internal memory or SD card. Just go to recovery, Wipe /data, /cache, /system then locate that backup file and restore

There are a lot of CWM Guides over internet.
Here is example: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-clockworkmod-recovery-and-how-to-use-it-on-android-complete-guide/
Once you get used to it, troubleshooting your phone is not a prob anymore

A little background:
I followed Heisenberg's How to Guide for Beginners to back up my stock firmware, root my phone, and install the Screw'd ROM.
I did all of the backups he advised in that thread, and did an additional one with absolutely everything, for good measure.
I used the Nano Gapps as I don't care for most of the Google Apps, however, I would like to have Google Camera, but I don't want to go through wiping my phone and starting over.
In Titanium Backup, I chose "Extract from Nandroid back up" and picked the back up file.
So far I've restored com.google.android.GoogleCamera, but the stock camera app doesn't seem to be there.
Can anyone shed some light on my situation?

Did you reboot after the restore? Typically those are system apps and may need a reboot for the app to refresh and show up.

Does anyone else have the issue with no sound mond the sound distorts via AUX? It doesn't seem to work as well as the original stock rom. I've tried re-installing a sound mod. I haven't installed Viper4Android either.

It sounds like you have done a dirty flash instead of a full wipe. This will be the cause of your issue. It is always recommended to do a full wipe before flashing a new rom, otherwise you will most liklely come across issues.

It's possibly a rom issue then. Download Titanium and backup all your apps and data. Then restore them in the new rom. Saves your internet speed then.

Mm yes, I have the usual facebook, messenger, instagram, ebay, a few others and one game that I play. I don't have my phone filled with tens of applications I wont use?
Title says all. My phone was being sluggish (and constantly getting REALLY hot) so I decided to root and install a custom rom. Everything runs so much better and my phone is much cooler, but I cant log into snapchat anymore. I tried installing suhide, but that didnt seem to do anything. What else can I do?

I realized I only used snap to talk to one person, so I got her number and decided to ditch it lol.
Though what I did was I switched to a pure stock rom Found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/development/pure-firmware-tuff-wip-t3224833) then I was gonna make a titanium back up of snapchat while logged in. Then switch back to the rooted rom we have, and load it up.

What I did because I'm on N and there's no Xposed is just completely unroot and sign in. Then you can reroot and stay logged in. Go get titanium backup and backup your Snapchat data in case you have to log out. Every time you logout and you're rooted, just restore the backup you made of when you were signed it, I can confirm it works because I just did it 10 minutes ago and came to make a post here about it.
I hope this helps.

Reflash your rom you're running (avoid flashing SU or Xposed at all, you can do it later) and first thing you do after getting to the home screen go to the playstore and dl snapchat and login. Should work just fine.
I have the G4 plus with latest (April 1, 2018) stock firmware. I have the ElementalX-G4-2.01 kernel at stock settings, Magisk root and Xposed, all most recent updates. Often, when I play graphic-medium games, the phone just restarts to the blue Moto screen. I notice the back gets really hot and temps are reading ~110F, which seems extreme to me. I've tried the suggested GFX Tool (usually for PUBG) to dial back my graphical settings, but same thing happens. I've tried removing Xposed, still happens. Is there anything other than factory reset I can do to prevent this? Are there Kernel settings, graphic settings, literally anything to prevent this, or at least find out what's causing it?
You can grab the files in sys/fs/pstore/ to check if the random reboot is logged in there. Feel free to provide the files here to have a look together
G4 isn't made for gaming and the temperature issue is well known, so it can be cause of the heat.

Regardless, attached the ramoops from my most recent restart.

Right, but the log file has no mention of Xposed that I saw. I don't understand it that well, but what caused the restart?
Since nobody can decipher my oops files, I guess this goes unsolved. I've had the best luck freezing all Xposed modules, so now gaming doesn't cause reboots. It's completely random and only limited to ~once a day. Yay!

I understand this. Likely the majority of restarts were caused by Xposed. We all agree on this fact. Since you can decipher the ramoops easier than I can, I was wondering what the latest gave as a reason for rebooting, since Xposed wasn't installed.

Getting rid of OTA updates on a rooted device by freezing "Software Update" apps
I have a rooted Galaxy s10+ with android pie. Doesn't freezing "Software Update" system apps of my android by Titanium Backup make booting problems for my device? Is it safe for me to freeze those apps? I ask because I've heard freezing some system apps like "Device Care" stops the device from booting. As other fellas I get ota update notifications and I wanna get rid of them by freezing those apps.
not a soul to answer?
dont know, never used it on this app
why dont you just hide the notifications?

because they come back, of course I tried that. you cannot just hide their notifications. They are system apps which android doesn't let you to hide their notifications. you can even stop the apps with some apps but they come back. I just wanna know the answer to my question because all other ways has already been tried and they were unsuccessful.
You can freeze the software update without issues, or at least you could back in Galaxy S4 days. Pie might work differently than lollipop.

Some ideas:
Autonotification blocks permanent notifications permanently .
Or make a Nandroid backup with TWRP and restore if necessary.
Or use TWRP file manager (or aroma file manager https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108) to backup packages .xml file (should work also on PIE) in the data/system folder, which contains information About enabled and disabled packages.

Ok.
Always know that having root without having a custom recovery (TWRP) can be very risky because, in case you or some root-app make your phone bootloop, you cannot recover easily (And you lose your data).

Thanks for your advice. Yea you are right but at the moment s10+ was just released and its TWRP wasn't working properly. I'm an advanced user but I just don't have enough time to do it all over again let alone getting back up gets much time itself.
Still waiting for the answer folks ?
SO basically you are asking someone else to potentially F*** up their phone because you are not willing to try it yourself ? Sorry, but that's how it sounds....

Of course not. Some people have enough time to try different software and ways to make phones better. Some even have recovery software like TWRP which can undo if something go wrong. I'm asking them to share if they had the experience I mentioned. I was one of them a while ago.
