[Q] Verizon Note 3 - Processes crashing constantly - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Had KitKat on my phone and decided to root via Towelroot method. That worked great.
I then found that Titanium Backup would not work but found that I needed to modify a line in the permissions.xml file. I did that and rebooted. No issues.
A little while later, I noticed that many processes started crashing on me. Ex. Amazon, com.google.process.gapps, etc, etc. I cannot access the Internet via the browser. I get a message in the browser about 'DNS lookup failed'. I am trying to connect via the mobile network. Not connected to any WiFi.
The phone itself works and I can receive text messages. Nothing on the Internet side though.
I have used Odin and reflashed stock just to make sure. I have tried a factory reset as well and still the problem persists.
Any ideas?
Thanks
EDIT: Never-mind. I found that the solution was to do a factory reset AFTER I went back to the stock ROM. It works now.

[BUG] Market Apps failing to download after root.

Just started to have issues downloading apps from the market. Im on any connection and im connected to the internet but they fail right away with this message "Download Unsuccessful" ..........rooted too. Any Ideas?
*Edit*
I need some others to check this out
Last night I reset to factory defaults and after 1-2 downloads from the market everything after I tried to download fails, rooted. Then I flashed the stock firmware downloaded a couple apps no problem, rooted, couple more downloaded then FAIL! Not able to download until I do a factory reset, even than I can only get 1- maybe 2 downloaded.
I'm having trouble as well. I'm rooted, I posted yesterday but nobody replied. Can somebody out hedre try and install fring?
Rooted. And no problems.
Are you signed into Talk for authentication?
I had similar problem on my EVO yesterday as well.. So i don't think it's a phone issue...

I did a reset back to stock pulled down a couple apps then dead after that...CAn anyone pull apps off the market right now?
I was having major problems with apps, then I did a cache wipe and factory reset. Problem solved.
I was also restoring apps from mybackup pro, which may have caused the issue. The apps were backuped from my evo and restored on the epic.
Its a apk I removed just don't know which one :/
I take that back...I lost market functionality again and have not removed any files only rooted AM i the only one experiencing this?
I rooted (using the older line by line instructions, not the single automatic script) and have not had any problems with the market.
i rooted with the one click script and have been downloading apps with no problem, downloaded an update to gps status tonight on 3g and barcode scanner over wifi tonight.
Im having the same issue, I rooted so i can do free wifi tethering (hotspot) and now i cant even download the ****ing app to do so.....

Aussie Roadhound Stock ROM

TL/DR: I need a copy of the stock aussie roadhound firmware.
I've been using CM7 unofficial and CWM 5.0.2.6 recovery for a while on my plain u8800. The other day, the phone randomly shut it self down (wasn't plugged in).
It was stuck in a boot loop, and the only thing that would get it out was clearing cache and resetting permissions.
When the phone restarted I was presented with the setup guide again. While going through the guide, a lot of apps I had installed previously (titanium backup ect) were force closing. Although I was connected to the internet I couldn't download or sync my google account.
I skipped the setup guide, most applications didn't work, and I opened terminal. Using wifi I could ping googles dns servers by IP (8.8.8.8). I tried an nslookup using that dns however, and it failed.
I tried upgrading to the latest CM7, and since then I've had a question mark over my battery, and now only wifi works (3g/mobile worked at the start, now I can't even make phone calls.)
I'm hoping to try a stock firmware one last time, and if that fails, at least I'll be able to return my phone in that state. Unfortunately, none of the links online seem to be working.
Any Ideas/Links?

Tmobile Galaxy s4 M919 - Play Store Won't Connect

So hopefully this thread is in the right section.. Anyway..
So I have a T Mobile Galaxy S4 M919 that I have tried rooting and which was successful but then came a problem.
At first Google play store was perfectly fine and such, after rooting my phone it was still working fine. I downloaded Freedom.apk and after that few minutes later my app store just doesn't connect anymore. I removed Freedom.apk to see if that would work. No it didn't so I tried change the password of my gmail account and re-logging again I can't connect. So I did some research on google and found a couple threads on this forum about the issue which lead to many solutions. I tried them all even clearing cache, data, force stop, enable/disable, re-flashing.
Not to mention that I also tried downloading total commander? To edit the Hosts file anyway, I got it to edit the file but I could not save it. It would constantly crash every time I clicked save. Last resort I did was factory reset, no worries I backed up all my contacts, messages and such...
That also did not work so being that it was a clean fresh start I decided to re-flash again. At first I was using the cf auto root then I tried another one after.
There is nothing wrong with my internet nor the service provider that I am with (t mobile).
I literally tried everything and now i'm about to give up. If anyone could help me out without suggesting the same steps that I have done I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for taking time to read this!
Bump... Does anyone know a solution to this? Please help :3

Can't send or receive SMS after installing OOS 3.1.0

I recently switched from AOSPA after not being particularly impressed and went back to oxygen. However, after attempting to send a message I was unable to send one and noticed that I also am unable to receive. Phone calls and cellular data seems to work perfectly. I have flashed the proper firmware and reflashed the OS several times, but for no avail. I've also tried to clear cache l, but still no luck. I haven't been able to test the SIM card on another phone yet, but as the problem started as I switched OS I doubt that the problem lies there.
Some weird things I've noticed:
- Both Facebook and Google Messenger refuse to even attempt at sending a message, whereas textra pretends nothing is wrong
- In gsam battery monitor the phone line is greyed out
- Right after boot a message saying there is no service appears, but disappears fairly quickly.
Thanks in advance!
And this is after clean flash? Also without trying to restore any data using Titanium backup or other?
Clean flash, but I did use titanium backup. Guess that could be the cause. Seems like I'll have to do another clean flash anyway.

Weird Software bug need help please H870

Hello All
These are some odd, nasty software bugs, it appears on an LG G6.
I have tried everything with this phone and it still has the following two errors:
While attempting to access play store: there is a problem communicating with the server, please try again later
And intermittently with chrome: a variety of ssl errors (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERORR, ERR_SSL_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT are by far the most common.)
Both happens regardless of time or network
Apart from that, everything works fine, phone calls, as a hotspot etc, even firefox seems to work fine. I am unable to add a google account in anyway just gives the same errors.
The phone has had the issue on stock lg firmware, from nougat and updated to the most recent.
The phone has, after these updates, been rooted and stock and custom firmware added. Same problem.
I have edited the hosts file as per a previous post elsewhere, which fixed every thing for other people with no change.
It has been fully hard reset many times, reflashed many times wiped in all ways via twrp and still the same. The time is also correct, as is the date.
I have manually updated play store, services and chrome, no change.
Does anyone have any advice at all?
Thanks
