Look here:
http://swappa.com/
or Amazon or Ebay (make sure to buy from a store in these pages not a private person because of the rise of fake devices)
and I would never buy from craigslist as I still have that poor guy in my mind who was running around for 2 days to find the apartment that he got a key for(and gave like 300$)

thank you very much for answering comprano have much on this page to order?

XDA/Samsung

Hello Guys,
My name is John, I recently became the social media analyst at Samsung mobile. I wanted to start opening the lines of communication between XDA and Samsung. First I wanted to say I have noticed your work on our devices on the XDA forums. I think you guys do an outstanding job, I myself am a developer for mobile devices. So let’s get down to business, we’re going to be in Austin from March 10-15 for the SXSW(south by southwest http://sxsw.com/convention). I was wondering if any of you guys are going so that we could meet up and share a couple of ideas I have. I am looking forward to meeting some of you GREAT developers!
Thanks in advance,
John

Welcome John! I have to say I'm quite impressed that Samsung or even just you as an employee are taking the initiative to come here and commune with our development community. I hope this is the start of a wonderful 3rd and 1st party development exchanging of ideas!

Welcome John,
Great to see an official employee from Samsung.
My question is, do you believe samsung in the future, will enable 720p playback on the nexus s ?
welcome to our wonderfull forums. frankly im impressed that there is an "official" line of communication started in xda from samsung. lets keep it going and lets watch the relationship blossom
Welcome John, glad to have a Samsung employee browsing xda.

Hey John how high are you in the Samsung chain? If your extremely high can i ask you...... WHEN THE HECK ARE THE OTHER US CARRIERS GETTING FROYO ON THEIR GALAXY S DEVICES. I DIDN'T WANNA HAVE have to root BUT I JUST MIGHT HAVE TO. Or pay extra and get the inspire. I'm sorry. But I've been driven to the brink. I'm never buying anymore Samsung. You guys were my first phone, but ur updates and lag built in to the software aren't worth it.

Hey John, just want to echo others comments that it's very impressive that a Samsung employee would begin a dialogue here at XDA. Look forward to seeing you jump in the forums and offer your suggestions.

Why are you asking him that question here? Come on people. Spamming John with questions in every topic he creates isn't going to get you an answer. Stay in your Captivate forum if you're going to ask him questions regarding Galaxy S phones.
Hi John
Welcome to XDA Developers.
It's quite a surprise to see a real person from any company wishing to participate together.
I've alerted the Senior people and Admins, some one will be in touch with you shortly.
Enjoy your stay.

Attention!!! http://www.dinodirect.com are scammers..

There is a possibility that a member in xda "Semur" will try to contact you. Here is his -fake- facebook account: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002462824795 .
Here is what he sent me

If you are interested in this, please feel free to let me know. thanks"
The store is: http://www.dinodirect.com and is the most terrible store on the internet....
I just informed you. They are scammers. You can see reviews of this store all over the internet! You can lose your money and they will never send you the product....
P.S: Their products are awefull...
P.S2: You can check some users reviews here.
Have a nice day,
Kyrillos
thank you for sharing this information...many members may benefit from this
Thanks kryillos, and I bet that the website wouldn't even give you a free device.
Shame. I would've so wanted that useful phone holder (which is a box where you can lay your phone) for 18 dollars
I once bought a thing from them via their ebay store and they delivered.
It was like 6 months back i guess. Dunno exactly.
Sad to hear they have turned scammers now.
well, i am also sad to hear this. But i did have many purchases from Dinodirect, and there were no problems on all my orders. Products are good and delivery is fast. Maybe they want to let more people know them here, so they want to find some members for marketing. But whether it is good or not, you can have a try for yourself.

Sony Ericsson Ambassador

Morning all!
I just wanted to say I'm a Sony Ericsson Ambassador based in one of the mobile network retail stores in the UK. If you have any questions you can't find the answers to either drop me a private message or send me something on twitter (SEyorkO2)
I'll do my best to get your questions answered and I'll also be posting information that I get my hands on (that I'm not forbidden to post )
I'm currently using the Arc as my primary phone and the Play as my bit on the side so these are my strongest subjects currently.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Due to lot's of questions coming through I'm going to write them all down and forward them onto the correct departments every Monday rather than constantly bombarding them. Once I get responses I'll post them at the bottom of this post.
Anything for x10.
I know this is arc forums but just wondering if you have any info

Hi Shaun,
Do you know what kind of film is on the exterior of the Arc screen?
Or even what kind of solutions I can use to fix/fill scratches on the screen?
Thanks for your time!

Haha, I've just completed the newest one, was quite good fun!
A lot of people seem to have completed this month's task very quickly.
I, on the other hand, am a little stumped.
I found it hard to narrow it down, I had loads of ideas but in the end settled on the most productive
I don't have any.
I don't have the know-how to make an app myself so I've never though twice about it.
The way I approached it was by thinking "What would I like to see on my phone?" Problem is there was too mucht hat popped into my head
Hi there! Another Ambassador here, one of the originals from last year.
I've done this months task, I was already in the process of making ky own app
I'm aiming to go to Vegas again... ;-)
Sent from my LT15i using Tapatalk
What are these tasks everyones talking about...
Ambassadors are set monthly tasks by SE.
How does one become an Ambassador? Any perks?
Edit: Nvm, looks to be UK only

Community help with marketing
Here on XDA I have seen many members collaborate which is great. Nobody is perfect but we can combine our knowledge and create something which is really amazing. This is one of the reasons I like XDA for. :good:
Currently there are threads for developers who are looking for testers, translators and designers.
However, it is a shame if we create fantastic apps and nobody is downloading them.
To bring the collaboration to the next level I set up this thread.
Developers, here are your marketing experts.
This thread is divided into different sections for different purposes.
If you want to participate, send me a PM with a link to your profile and tell me what you are skilled in. I will add you to the list.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

Demo videos and screenshots:
If you present your app in an app store, the first thing in addition to the description your consumers see are the screenshots and the demo video. Providing a demo video is a huge advantage. It is one of the best opportunities to present your app to your costumer.

If I have the time, I'll see if I can write up a more comprehensive marketing guide covering the pricing and promotion strategies and aspects of marketing. Both are really important, especially for this market, and quite a few times I've seen apps that seem to have potential hindered by a not-so-smart/appropriate pricing/promotion strategy that the dev have in place :/

Added app reviews category.
Exchange Reviews with other developers
Today Android marketing is very expensive right now, so why not a review exchange?
androidki[.]com
Androidki is a exchange review web totally for free, your app can be reviewed by the web authors and also by other users in the web.
Also reviews are schema.org standarized so the reviews will also appear on google results
Best of luck with your android app!

Well I guess I'll toss my hat into the ring for some more reviews.
I'm doing a little android blog/review thing. It's in VERY early beta and i'm playing with it everyday so it'll be changing plenty.
http://androidsexplained.com/reviews.php
That's the reviews page, I already got a few big apps up, and bunch more I have to upload.
Basically its gonna be the standard bigger apps, and I want to have a good section focusing on the smaller and indie developers. Give some love back to XDA and all that.
Every little bit helps, so if you need a review feel free to message me on here or mail me at [email protected]

Actually I was not promoting my blog!
Just I did a Note 2 vs note 3 comparison! so was helping users to decide whether the note 3 is worth the upgrade or not

Hehe! a (Thanks) hit on my posts would make me a day!! cool btw thanks a lot!
This is an excellent comparison. But I dont know why people compare these two devices.Note 3 clearly wins out..Your choic between these two depends on the following single question
Do you have buttload of money
Yes=Note 3
No=Note 2
I m not saying ur comparison is useless, dont get me wrong
Hangouts in Note 3
I know I can keep Gtalk in Note 2. Any idea whether Hangouts is a must in Note 3?
you can have gtalk in note 3 also! simple way! unistall from system via titanium backup! and put talk apk in system!
