[Q] Brick failed on GT I9515

Hi,
I tried to load a new firmware from sam firmware. I download Odin 3.09 and I9515XXU1AND3 firmware. I followed all steps and when odin loads the system return an error. When i try to put on the phone I see "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again".
I tried again with Kies but does not found any interrupted update. I tried with Odin 3.09 and 3.07 with another firmware I9515XXU1ANG1 but no luck. Also I press reset button on Odin.
Now I think I need a .pit file because Odin does not found any partition.
Anyone can help me, please.

Is your phone going in download mode?
Plus were you trying to flash a furmware lower than 4.3 jellybean? Or 4.4 if you were on kitkat?

My phone is going in download mode. If I press power+vol down+back and after vol up ii's going in download mode. The phone runs KitKat. What should I do to revive it?

I've gt-i9515ve and faced with same situation. Try vol.up+power+back and enter recovery menü.
Then wipe to factory default.
This has solved my brick problem.
But I can not turn back to normal 9515ve firmware , I've installed a black edition firmware then phone starts to reboot at random times?
Sometimes when I'm talking with phone, problem occurs.
Any clue or help is appreciated?

[Q] Kies firmware download error

I'm using a Galaxy S4 sgh-i337m Canadian model. When I try to update my firmware through Kies, I get to the "Downloading file for firmware upgrade etc. etc." but every time it gets to 69% I get an error saying there was a problem trying to download the firmware, do you want to try again. I have tried again about 6 times. I've even uninstalled Kies and still get the same error. Is there any other way to get the update? It says SHG-I337M Ver.14.07.04.01

You should be able to find the latest firmware on sammobile.com, that can be flashed with Odin.

G900f error flashing

i want to update my g900f to lollipop (G900FDXU1BNL3_G900FOLB1BNL3_XME) with odin 3.09 but in the end of flashing it show "error Sending hidden.img.ext4" and my phone now is on download mode
Please is there any solution to this problem?

Hi, I had this problem with my g900h. You can try via Kies3, there's an option there to reinicialize the software but you will need the phone serial (which is under the battery). If that does not cut it for you then just install the rom you have before via odin.

[Q] Stuck after flashing root

Hi,
I wanted to Root my S5, so i followed a tut with odin. Flashing did go wrong (failed in Odin) and now when i boot the device it says "Firmware update failed. Please use recovery in KIES".
Kies does not want to recover the device, for whatever reason. How can i get my phone back to a working state?

Grab a stock firmware (ROM) from sammobile, use ODIN to flash it

Isn't working Fails at the WRITE part for the system.img.ext4

Not very precise. What did you do and WHAT failed? Seems like you use a official FW, so load a recent official FW and flash this one by Odin or do as it said and use Kies in recovery mode to fix it.
