All I have flashed is the update and the new supersu files I needed, what effects will flashing a new boot loader and radio have? And where can I get them?

Not many noticeable effects but it might sort out your issue.
Radio: http://www.mediafire.com/download/rs7edab8udpahyc/radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1700.84.zip
Bootloader: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jh8nlm4ylibzis3/bootloader-mako-makoz20i.zip
Flash each zip via recovery.

Can you explain a little bit more?
Do you want to install other apks from your app? (see here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4604239/install-application-programmatically-on-android)
Do you want to (un)zip sth? (see here: http://developer.android.com/reference/java/util/zip/package-summary.html)

Yes, but why would you want to? You can't make a nandroid backup in the stock recovery

My daughter needs a phone, I was going to flash rastakat because it gave me better battery life. I'm afraid she will reboot into recovery and flash something that's not a ROM/kernel.

Sounds like it's a good time to learn responsibility. If she's old enough to have a phone, have her buy an inexpensive android. There are a mess of them. I've found my kids to be better stewards of the things they've had to work for than things just given to them.

If you mean safe as in the rom doesnt contain malware and doesnt screw up your phone, custom roms on XDA are absolutely safe. The community tests them out and report bugs and the devs keep on churning out better and better versions.
Hello experts I have a question can I have two custom recoveries on my note 3 at the same time? A friend of mine has 3 recoveries on his xperia z1!

It's possible, but why? I don't see what the point of this would be.
What would you use the 2nd recovery for? Or even the 3rd.

I love Cwm but for some roms I need twrp and I would like to have both
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
TWRP is best and in active development. Hate it and be happy. Or is it Philz recovery that combin cwm and twrp, but not in development if im not wrong?:S As said best bet is TWRP .
So there isnt any method to have both

No you can't put them together yourself unless you are a developer who knows how to do. Never heard of it.
Ok thank you
