Hello XDA.....i recently tried updating my KERNEL and updating from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3 do these work w/ CM7? i have not been able to install my gapps or any from market..since i updated to Faux Rom..im wanting to install 7.0.3...

You don't need to spam multiple threads to get help. It is sort of rude. The kernel you've installed is incorrect. You need to use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957267 kernel. If you read the OPs from either thread it would have told you the correct kernel to use.

its so good thanks a lot for activating the swap its so useful
juste One problem is the " imei " adress they doesn't appears
but the network is good without imei address i think the imei address is still ther but it's just doesn't appear

If it's a stock rom you are using (not cm7) you can try flashing the correct ril file to regain imei

if its the rom boot animation then change bootanimation.zip in /system/media - set permissions to rw-r-r for replacement file
if its the kernel splash screen (like the galaxy y 5360 logo in stock kernel) you will have to rebuild the kernel from source with a different image

You don't uninstall a kernel
All you have to do is simply flash the kernel you want to use and as long as it's compatible with the rom & file system you are using it will boot
Therefore just flash stock kernel - if you don't have it then download hells fusion #50 kernel & flash it in cwm with system mounted and just select option 1 from the menu to flash stock kernel
I install CM 7.2 newExperienceKitkat with [email protected] 2.6.35.14. I can't reinstall my ROM, because I do not want remove my files.
I can install Jarvis-CM v1.2 without reinstall my ROM? What are there bugs?
Just gonna keep this short for you guys. This device is pretty old, and really there isnt much development going on. I dont have the time to work on a lollipop port, nor do I really care enough to try. That being said, I've mixed NUK3RN3L and StarKissed into one kernel, and have added a **** ton of optimizations. Well, no. But mine hasnt changed either despite it being correctly flashed. Im pretty sure its just a problem with the ROM not detecting the change in kernel. You can download trickster mod or a similar app to check from there.

I downloaded Trickster and it says the kernel is "Linux version 3.0.16nuk3l ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC) ) #3 PREEMPT Fri Jul 12"
Is that what it should say or something else? What does your's say?
Edit: I just reflashed the kernel. Same reading on Trickster. I'm beginning to think that it might be the ROM not displaying the kernel name. I'm running NuSenseRom Reborn 6.0. I THINK I noticed a difference but it might just be a placebo effect. Hahah.
I think it did take. My battery charged in 1/2 the time it normally takes.

I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THE GUYS @ CM PULLED THEIR OFFICIAL INSTALLER BECAUSE OF SOMETHING CALLED STAGEFRIGHT. I don't think that bug should affect my Tab, because it will not be receiving MMS messages.

1. The ''Safe" way by : downloading a different version and manually installed it (make a backup of the file before and then just replace it manually..)

A:It can be solved by replacing SoundAlive_40.apk in system/ priv-app with a different version.

*Alternatively, you can install Viper or Aryamod on a permissive kernel instead of using Soundalive -link-*

You have a N9100 Dual sim not a SM-910G/F/T/P/V/W8
So you can try to install it with a N9100 Dual Sim Kernel and a data Fix + Super SU. If it's working on your device, you will be lucky and if not, you can't complain mate
because it's written nowhere that this Rom is compatible with your device. Have you ever try to flash an Exynos rom on your Device?:silly:

I can see by the number of your posts that you are an experienced user and i'm not using Snapshot as i already told you in the other thread but i'll try to help anyway (So don't see any offense in my questions):
1/ Did you flash clean the rom ?
2/ Did you restore your snapchat from Titatnium backup or you did do a fresh install?
3/ What variant of 910 are you on?
4/ What Ram kernel version are you using right now ? Permissive/Enforcing?

Its okay... my first few weeks with my note 4 and had nothing but trouble so far haha, but looks like things are sorted.
1- yes i did full wipe and clean flash. Wiped system, data, cache, dalvik, storage
2- no restore of snapchat. Fresh install from play store.
3- N910F
4- Ramkernel v5 permissive.
Before today i had stock rooted rom with ram kernel v4 and all was fine.
I have heard before when i had a note 7 rom for my s6 edge that snapchat also uses safety net like pokemon go which can prevent it from working. Not sure if this is correct.

Seems all these N7 ports have huge battery drains. Tried many and this rom is no exception.

Hi mate! Sorry for the delay of my answer, i had a weird problem with XDA forum (Couldn't see the recents posts and i gave up after sometimes).
-Your problem might be related to the kernel, you may try to flash the Kernel V5 Enforcing for 910F Wihtout SuperSu 1st and see if Snapchat works
-Then you can try to flash Supersu and see if it still work despite of the root.

I'm running Ram Kernel V5 Enforcing for 910G without any extra troubles.

At the first boot of the 1st install of a new rom it's normal that the battery drains more i think.
I had around 16H battery with 100% on my first install of the rom with Govtuner 3.9.1 (Set on battery mode)
Now i have used 83% of my battery in almost 20H with Govtuner 3.8 (Set on battery mode). Which is better. I'll post some screenshot soon.

Edit: Waow! I could see recent changes in the dev's github and we can see that Synapse support is coming. Great!

Its just strange because before i flashed the ROM i had ram kernel v4 permissive and root. I like to keep permissive kernel because i use viper.

Ok mate no worries it was just a suggestion. What Rom was you running with ram kernel v4 and snap chat was working ?
using 910G / RamRom N7_V1 / Kernel v5 enforcing / Govtuner 3.8

No problem, it was just stock ROM, rooted with ram kernel v4. I think ill keep it as it is i would much rather have the ROM than snapchat to be honest

P.S : You need to disable/enable download in the Xposed settings to get download work.
But remember : DO NOT report any bugs in the main dev thread if you are running Xposed on your device!
wifi hotspot not working. I tried everything ex. like changing boolader and modem. Unfortunately. My device is N910F. But it is working on reddragon, nemesis, norma roms.
