Lg g2 gpe rom - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any chance in someone porting/developing the GPE ROM for the G2, preferably VS980?

Stop asking this, it's called AOSP

No, there's a difference. Many AOSP ROM's have tweaks and are not truly GPE. GPE is just that, GPE, nothing more.

[Q] (Q) Stock LG keyboard

I am using grievous rom for ATT, I would like to install the stock LG keyboard so I can send emoji in the stock messaging app. how would I go about doing this. I have tried to take the apk from clean rom but I have not been able to get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. A flashable zip would be even better.
Here it is.

Anyone working on a stock D800 Kernel

Just curious if anyone is working on or have released a tweaked stock kernel for the D800. I want to stay on stock rooted cause I believe LG already has done a great job. Just looking for maybe a overclock and a couple of governors to play around with. Any ideas??

That's for Sprint.
EDIT: I take that back. It's posted in the Sprint section, but other variants are available.
There's a link near the download for the d800 variant
Wow, I'm SO glad I just happened to see this thread. I just went thru the various development sub-forums for each variation of the phone even though I own the D800. I somehow must have missed the thread you linked, cuz it was obviously there at the time, lol.
Anyways, thanks to the OP and the person who linked the thread with kernel for stock LG roms!

No Accelerometer G2

Hey Guys, I searched and couldn't find anything. I have my G2 D800 unlocked with the Loki'd Philz touch, when I install a new rom, everything works, except the accelerometer. It says it's just not there. I have tried SlimKat, LiquidSmooth, CM, and Carbon, all have the same problem, am I missing something?

Yes as far as flashing a fix or using a standalone app.

The extra steps are that your stock messaging app will most likely not work when installing one of the G3 Roms I've mention earlier, so to resolve that problem, use Google Hangouts for your sms, this is a common issue with CDMA Devices(Sprint and Verizon G2), if you have any other problems with the G3 ROM, let me know.
