then you can use any N9005 rom.
try to avoid HK rom, if your device is international N9005.

if you bought a local singapore set with the samsung warranty, it is an international N9005.
Singapore's mobile phone on the market (excludes the export set), it is all international unlock version.
cheers.

looking at getting a Samsung Galaxy S5 and have noticed that they are not the same models. ie. G900I, G900F etc. could anyone explain the difference please. i am in Australia by the way. thanks
Basically the region and/or the cell provider. There's a list somewhere on XDA that goes over each model.

I believe all the ones that aren't CDMA?
From GSMArena:
Samsung Galaxy S5
Available as:
Samsung SM-G900F - for Europe
Samsung SM-G900I - for Asia
Samsung SM-G900K/G900L/G900S - for Korea
Samsung SM-G900M - for Vodafone
Samsung SM-G900A - for AT&T
Samsung SM-G900T - for T-Mobile
Samsung SM-G900V - for Verizon
Samsung SM-G900R4 - for US Cellular
Samsung SM-G900P - for Sprint
As for which one for Australia, I have no idea. I believe that for other devices Australia uses the EU model, so it's likely that one. But I can't guarantee it.
I'm from Malaysia but here have f version only and in Indonesia only version h

The official australian version is G900I since G900F doesn't support some of the LTE frequencies (700Mhz and 2300Mhz).

May I know how can I flash SM-900F firmware on an SM0900I Galaxy S5 as the Australian SM-900I firmware has some limitations?

Search for 'Odin' in the forums and download the firmware from www.sammobile.com.

People really shouldn't flash firmwares that are not meant for your phone. While they might be 99% identical, there are some differences like the 3g/4g bands that the device supports.

I bought the G900F in Hong Kong and works perfectly well in Australia on Vodafone 4G. I also flashed the UK BTU firmware over the stock ZHU firmware and simply brilliant.
I think you limit yourselves buying the G900I version as the G900F has far more options for flashing stock firmwares, and works perfectly well in Australia. The G900I version reminds me of the S4 Mini (i9195T version) which was Vodafone/Telstra only and never received the 4.3 update, or any others for that matter.... Better to get a phone that has world wide coverage, than one that's limited to Australia if you care about timely updates.
FYi, if you check www.samfirmware.com, you'll see that the listed G900I is only Australia and Taiwan... G900F is everything from Europe to Asia.
I have the G900H in south America.
I bought S5- SM-G900F from Dubai airport and wanted to know if it will work in India/US
thanks for info
am just wondering if compatability of different models and 4G coverage
Thanks
I have a SM-G900F phone in Australia for last 2 years., and have no problems whatsoever.

[Q] Please - any solution for CSC with Czech language for 4.3 N900T Note 3 ?

Hi boys (and ladies), please do somebody know about solution, how put Czech (European) language into Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T (USA T-Mobile version)? I am soooooo sad ... For N900 (international version Note 3) is CSC with Czech, but I think that for N900T = mission impossible?
up
Please can I flash Czech CSC from international N900 to N900T American T-Mobile version?

1- You better ask in the box for the N900T: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-tmobile
2- AFAIK, N900T has the same hardware with the N9005 (international) so you cannot flash N900 firmware. However you may flash N9005 firmware. But to ensure if it works you should ask in the box for N900T.
3- Once you have flashed N9005 firmware, you can use "CSC Changer" tool to change the CSC to your region (Czech). 'CSC Changer' tool can be found in my app Phone INFO ★Samsung★.

Look 4 "language enabler". Copy paste in Google or xda search. Maybe that works.

[Q] I need firmware Kitkat 4.4.2

For a Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005XXUDMJ7.
Were can I find it? On Sammobile I find nothing for that number in combination with kitkat 4.4.2. Please help me.
I have a Bosnia and Herzegovina Note 3.
Will a firmware 4.4 from Slovakia (or Uzbekistan, Papoea New Guinea, or ...) work? As long it isn't branded? Or do I have to stick to N9005XXUDMJ7??

why do u need that 4.3 JB?
flashing other region shld be no problem as long as same device.
e.g: n9005 must take n9005.
however u have to avoid hongkong and Taiwan firmware.

Hi, n7505 is Note 3 Neo that support LTE, not Note 3.
For Note 3 Neo, you may need to ask the question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-neo
What is your CSC code? Germany is a country, not CSC code.

please help me

Well, it's both. It's for the international model (n9005) but it is for Thailand Region - with Asian firmware you need to be careful as a number of them have different partitions to rest of the world and they can cause problems.
Unless you wish to get into the nuts and bolts of ROM updates, best to stick with the same region your phone currently is set to - there's an app called Phone INFO Samsung which can give you all the details about your set up.
