Hello peeps,
I'm quite an android enthusiast, like many of you, and tweaker too. So I just want you to tell you how to tweak your note 3 neo so it performance better with yet more brilliant battery life and host of other handy things for 4.3 and above firmware.
1) ROOT your phone:
Root is the answer for all tweaking and here are links for CF-Auto for Note 2 N7500 or N7105 - Link
2)Once you have successfully gained root access install Root Explorer or preferably Root Unintaller.
3)Once done you can uninstall the following bloatware without affecting the main functionality of the phone using either Root Explorer with r/w ON or Root Uninstaller:

You get more free space on system partition by uninstalling.
Ps: Here is a tips to get about 200mb extra free space.
Go to system/VODB and delete everything except lib, mul, resources.txt

But IMO, free system space is not available/accessible to store user data.
Btw, I have 400mb free system partition space right now.

And once you've uninstalled that lot, kick yourself because now half the features you bought a Note 2 for, don't work anymore.
If you're going to uninstall all those things, just buy yourself a $10 Nokia.
Uninstall all of those - and reinstall the same/alternative app from playstore - Now everything can be greenified!
(Of course, dont uninstall samsung specific apps which do not have an alternative/cannot be downloaded from google play.
Or optionally - Just buy the donation package for greenify - and greenify all apps in the OP's uninstall list.

Well, if you do have a problem with this you can just ignore this thread and live happily with all your bloatware since you love them so much. Anyhow a lot of us love having apps of our choice and better alternatives then the Samsung bloatware apps and don't seem the need to constantly use our battery life and ram for running them. FYI Samsung Apps don't actually constitute of a smart phone you dofus! Learn some tech.
I suggested this method so you can have your own custom set of apps rather than being enforced to have them. It's your utter choice to keep what apps you want and remove the Apps you don't want.
Don't be naive and stupid, learn something instead

Keep the name calling to yourself thanks, or find yourself reported to the mods.
In that case you can most definitely keep the sarcasm to yourself rather than being co-called "cool" and "witty" and do us all a favor and leave this thread alone, if you're not interested in the post, you can just move on. Yet again don't be so naive, learn something.

Good work!
But, why would you delete youtube and even SMemo ? I mean, thats kind of important, right ?
It's better to uninstall YouTube application and install Play Store app so you can greenify it. I didn't uninstall Smemo, plus it's up to you what you want to uninstall or keep from the list.

NEVER quote the OP
Once you make a thread on xda you cant order anyone off it,
people will express their opinion and if logical it will be accepted.
and prove yourself without resorting to name - calling and hitting under the belt.

FYI no one is asking someone off XDA, people should follow certain etiquette and respect the contributor for his/her contribution rather then being so called "witty" with his/her sarcasm and discreet insult the contributor. If a person has to criticise they should do it in a respectful manner as a user, not to go all out loud with so called "I'm so awesome I can be sarcastic and insulting behaviour". This post is to help people and if you don't find it useless you can just skip it no one is asking for your sarcasm.
good post..
as i see it the OP is not asking to uninstall all the apps.. its merely a list of apps that can be uninstalled without affecting the device.
so an informative post i must say

the response was pretty much automatic and a reflex action, return sarcasm with sarcasm then
many Sammy stock rom lovers here too,
theres nothing new to learn for people here, note 2 is a two years old phone and those who have responded earlier are not newbies

Sorry, but the only one demonstrating insulting behaviour in here, was you. If you didn't like my response, that's fine but I'm absolutely entitled to respond as I did. At no time did I get sarcastic or insulting; that was all you.

All apps from Samsung Galaxy S are available here: http://samsunggalaxysforums.com/showthread.php/279-all-Galaxy-S-apps I tried to install the FM radio and WriteAndGo, but neither seems to work. Hey, no reason to be sorry! I just posted the question on the Android Development section, but the feedback was not overwhelming
Anyone checked if the browser from the Galaxy works on a Desire? It looks *just* like Chrome - beautifully simple.
Darn it, doesn't work. I'm gonna try to cook it into a ROM, though I doubt it'll help. Anyone have any idea how to port it?
Not even sure it looks like the pic below, but if it does I just have to have it.
Come on, nobody else wants a browser that seems to look just like Chrome? :/
I gave up asking, the browser does look cool tho

Well, I'm not giving up. If that is what the browser actually looks like on the Galaxy, I will not stop until I have it [on my Desire]. Let the crusade begin! (stealth bump)
haha, I'll join then cause I want the music player from the galaxy on my droid.
that's not the browser on the galaxy s, just a mockup.
do a search on youtube(galaxy s browser) and you'll see that's pretty similar to the one on the desire.
Have a look at the Nexus thread of this. Someone's deodexed some framework and the memo app.

Good morning
I want to share with you a the list with apks which i remove from all of XXLS7 rom i had flashed.
What I get if i remove all these apks?
First of all speed. My phone get very smoother when i removed those apks. Also you get lower ram usage
Is it safe to remove them?
I dont have any problem or instability since i remove them, but you will do it with your own risk
How to remove them?
I make a folder to my sd card and i remove those apks from system/app and data/app with Es File Explorer. In that way you can still revert back each apk you want at any time.
How to use Es file Explorer?
First download it from the link.Open it,go to settings/root settings and tic all the options. Now you are ready.Just Go to system/app and data/app and use the cut-paste feature.
Can i remove any other apk?
Sure there are many more apks whick you can remove. But only those on the list i had checked until now. Please share any other apks you can remove with us
Do I need to remove all these apks?
No just those you didnt use.

I think yes.But the point is to reduce a little space on system. With Titanium i think it keeps the apk in folder and just rename the extension?
Please someone correct if im wrong
i followed the list in OP of SVA's ls7 rom thread.
i found i couldnt move all the apks in es file explorer.
many like to freeze the apps in TiBackup for some time and then uninstall it if it doesnt cause any complication.
many delete the apks from the rom zip file ( open archive ) before flashing

To my knowledge, running the app Triangle Away is the only may to reset the flash counter. There will be a lot of reading to do to make sure you do this steps correctly and don't brick and I am not sure of the steps to take for the Sprint S4 should they be any differation from other varients. Here is the thread if you are interested. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114

Mine is working just fine rooted.. Nothing particularly done different, just followed qbking's king and it works fine.
This post was originally made for my galaxy note 2 but as both Roms are almost the same when it comes to stock system apps this should work for galaxy s2 also http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51110009#post51110009
There seem to be so many who wants to get the best battery life from their Note 2 so i thought of making this small guide to help them

For rooted users and non-rooted users, but rooted users have the advantage here as they can use 3rd party apps like bloat freezers and titanium backup.
I don't recommend deleting system apps permanently from the system due to the fact that if you accidentally uninstal an important system app it could create system force closes ect.. But if you freeze the apps you don't want then you can always de-freeze them whenever you want and it's very safe and could be handy at times.
For root users i recommend titanium backup to freeze and De-Freeze applications
For non-root users > Just go to settings>Application Manager>All ( select the app you want and Select "Disable") , this is also like freezing apps using titanium backup but the apps you can freeze are limited due to the fact that you don't have root permission but still you can freeze more than 70% of the apps to free some ram and save some battery

and add all the applications you installed to the apps Greenifing(hibernating) list so they will only run when you actually won't them to run and after u turn off the screen they will automatically force close But remember not to put your widgets or apps you use very often to like whatsapp , viber ect... as they will not give you notifications or update as they will be forced close by greenify along with all the other apps.
