I had this on s4 and now on note 3. Screen wakes up on every new sms.
Is there a way to disable it.

Well, I just lay down mine face-down on the table... (Thanks to the Otterbox I use, it seals in all the light.)
But I do admit it's annoying. Just like how it wakes up on fully charged.
I use gosms pro, gives you various options and that is one of them.
Any solution for stock messaging app

What are you talking about? Both the n7000 and the note 10.1 have the TW framework!

Can someone with the note 3 please verify for me this questions.
1) Does the Note 3 Spen work with Note 2?
2) Does the note 3 Spen work with the back and main button .
3) Does note 3's Spen fit the galaxy note 2 Slot??
4) Is there anything interesting I need to know about from Note 3's Spen that functions with Note 2?

Actually num 3 is a yes. Just tested with my wife n3 set on my n2. It locks securely as well only it doesnt follow the body shape contour of the n2. But yes it fits the slot and securely too.
Num 1 is a yes.
Num 2 is a definate no. Screen digitizer i assume doesnt exist in the note 2 menu and back buttons.
Num 4 is that i saw a video on youtube that u dun need to actually hold the pen near to 90 degrees to write. U can hold it at any angle to write.

I was thinking of buying Note 3's Spen for my Note 2. I wonder would the handwriting or pressure sensitive is a lot better using the Note 3 Spen?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
For pressure issues there is a tutorial on how to adjust the level. U can google it. Only angles are affected

Guys I tried looking for similar results but couldn't find anything for the note 3.
So I figured it might be a good idea to ask others. Does your note 3 rattle when you shake it, specifically around the top?
There is a slight rattle in mine and I hope it's not a defect? I have also heard it may be the auto focus but I don't remember hearing it before.

Very slightly, and only when shaking front to back, not when sideways.

i guess you have dropped your note 3.. and lossen some screw or maybe something which is not tilted :good:
Dude it's nothing to worry about..its the back cover..even I hear it at times if I press hard somewhere..which is the reason -like someone said earlier- it can be heard shaking front to back and not sideways...and it's very very minor lol
Nothing to worry

Mine does it slightly but when I open the camera app it stops. It's the auto focus. Many phones do this.
Thanks for the reply everyone!
It seems like a common issue.

Are you by any chance using a cover that covers the top of the screen?

Hi,
I am just wondering if there is anyway we can get this feature on Note3. I have used LG G2 before Note3 and that feature is so useful and handly.
I feel its possible to have the tocuh to wake feature on Note3 as it got the hardware.
Can you suggest a solution?
