Hello,
I bought a Nexus 4 with the primary purpose of putting on FirefoxOS, UbuntuTouch and other systems that I consider interesting.
To make this happen I need MultiROM Manager obviously, the problem is that I live in Cuba (unfortunately) and I have no access to PlayGoogle (Error 403 from Google.com). I found it to download it (even the latest version) in goo.im but ... I dont know, I dont want to install any software that I find anywhere on the device.
Can anyone help me and recommend any "serious" site from which to download MultiROM Manager? Or some tweak to download from PlayGoogle.

Thank you very much, thank you. Already downloaded it and installed it, now tells me that I dont have installed MultiROM and MultiROM Recovery.
Also "doesnt have kexec-hardboot patch", I read that as meaning that I do not have a patched kernel.
Is there any way to install this without being online? Have internet in the smartphone here in Cuba is like having a nuclear submarine in our garden

"Newbie", also I was also drop on my head when I was very young, so please explain as though I'm a 5 year old:
I installed rom and it works great. However I do not have root, near does any app or adb/fastbook code I have tried work to root this.
How or can this be rooted manual or with an app?
Remember, I am very slow learner.

I cannot download the TWRP recovery though, as the userscloud.com domain seems to be spam/fake only. It just redirects me to silly ads, and does not let me download at all. Maybe this domain was taken over by some unscrupulous person. Does anyone have the TWRP for lollipop hosted somewhere better? All the other files are also available on mega.nz, which works fine.

no you must be on nougat first, update your system to nougat b563 or b560 then flash kang with this recovery_CN, you can flash recovery by extracting file zip then run script "RUN.bat" from PC then choose no 1, or extract file zip then copy twrp.img and flash it from bootloader.

Vip b580 works just fine. Some of the kvip tools are missing or broken but works good , more options than previous builds

Now i have kang vip 386 twrp / root, i had c900b321 before, and with this version there was no update option for android 7
Debrand your phone via apk tools to al10. Install b386 and use hisuite to upgrade to b577 then install twrp China version via adb and then install kangvip b580.

If you installed twrp then flash sep8.5
I have same device as you have and it's bug less rom
It's much better than stock and it is noghat too!

You can choose between these two rom
If you Don't care about theme and some ability like this install sep8.5 lite(first link)
And if you want some stuff like edge panel floating messages and themes and these things install Secend one(sep8.5)
Both of them are bug less and completely stable and fast
Btw update your twrp to latest official

You have installed twrp??
If yes download that img file then at install section select install img then look for your file and click on it then you will see boot and recovery option that you should select revovery then slide to flash
Btw download latest one from twrp.me

But you know some roms creat for some special twrp
Just prototype solved that bug on his rom(sep8.5)
Now for this Just see which twrp is preferred on its threat
It should be zonik's twrp ikd
But just check which is recommended by dev

I can't for the life of me find a patched boot.img for OxygenOS 10.5.10. The latest one I can find is for 10.5.6. I've seen some posts saying you can find the one for 10.5.10 by searching the forum, but trust me, I've searched the forum for almost an hour now with no luck.
Could someone please help me out? I would like to root my Oneplus 8 Pro (US variant) which is currently running OxygenOS 10.5.10 without having to install TWRP. Its my understanding that this requires a patched boot.img which is version specific.
I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks!

If you dont wanna patch it yourself you can just boot twrp (not install it) and flash magisk from there..

Patch it yourself ..
Here's my patched image but it's recommended to patch your own for maximum compatibility!
If you don't know how to boot TWRP and flash Magisk there's an all-in-one tool that will do it for you here, https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...ol-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t4103509. You'll be rooted in a matter of minutes.
