Hi to everyone,
I cannot manage to find a good non-standard kernel for official FRG83 (that doesn't break some apps, like camera...) that works on the last rooted FRG83? thanks in advance...

it's spelled "recommended".
Are there any useful roms for this tab. Developement for this model seems dead. Any assistance would be appreciated

I am currently using the AOKP p4 and although there are still a few bugs like the camera it is a great rom thus far. If you want to stay with something more stock, Overcome has released a tweaked version of the GT-P7500 stock rom and it works almost absolutely flawless.
Check out the stuff for the GT-P7500, they are supposed to be the same or close to it and so far works fine.
Forgot, there is a pretty awesome guide here:

Ok thanks a bunch. I will give it a shot

Anyone actually been able to install the Google Dialer (Kitkat) on their note 3?
I've tried the apk in system/priv-app and set permissions to 644 but it only forcecloses on me..
If I install the app it works but understandably I cannot make calls.

If you scroll further down in the OP you can find a Google Dialer addon module...

Hi and thanks for your answer. The package it's self is alright, I've tried quite a few. May I ask if you are running the dialer your self from this package on your note 3 with 4.4 Tw rom?

Hi, I didn't try to install this package, but it looks like another directory tree (priv-app), May be aosp only.
I want to have KitKat dialer too

Me too, so tired of the Samsung one and all the other 3rd party dialers. Android police do have an article describing that it should work on most phones by pushing to priv-app and setting permissions, but no luck here. I'm getting it to work by installing normally but no calls then.. And no point..

Nope I am using it on Temasek V36 (CM11 based rom) and it is working like charm. You just need to be carefull that you don't flash it on a clean install because than it gives you fcs...

Ah, ok. Probably works better there yes due to aosp framework. Hope someone has a solution for a tw rom. I can't use cm until it's completely stable, but using most of the stock gapps besides the dialer.. (for now ?)

Oh, I use temasek's builds on my i9300 and nexus 7, but cannot use it on my note 3, because there is no support SM-N900 by CyanogenMod. It's so sad.

Well, actually it is already almost perfect. The only bug I could find is that sound sometimes gets distorted if you have touch sound enabled. And through Temaseks great work on his rom and kernel, battery life is not anymore a problem...
note 3
Lol I had this on my stock non rooted note 3 in no time I'm 11 yrs old i can make calls too

Can you share how you got it to work?
Same here, can someon post info how to enable gdialer on note 3?
Hello there, I'm new to this forum and I want to start by saying that I was able to root and install my first customer ROM thanks to you.
That being said, everything seems to be in order except that I don't see Paranoid Settings.
I'm running the following:
Device: Nexus 7 2013
Recovery: TWRP
ROM: pa_flo-4.2-BETA4-20140408
This is a snapshot of my settings menu.
If I'm missing any information or posted in the wrong place, please excuse me.

Yep, PA hasn't implemented them yet, it's normal I think

This gets asked daily in their dedicated thread
(spoiler alert: kit Kat killed a lot of them)
If you want customization then I'd use Xposed Framework with the GravityBox module but if you're looking for the signature PA per-app dpi and tablet/phablet modes then unfortunately they aren't included with the KK ROMs
Thank you guys for the responses.

What do you mean with KitKat killed a lot of them, do you mean features?
And which one is the dedicated thread, I've seen plenty of them?
Thanks for the help.

KitKat didn't kill the features, PA killed the features because they decided to start from scratch and build their ROMs in a different way.
Hi everyone can someone port these two apps for use on my custom ROM please?
I'm using an i9505 running Mahdi Rom. I went thru many other threads for these two apps but none of them are for use on non-Touchwiz roms..
Thanks in advance
bump
Sorry. That is not available.
