I have s4 running 4.3 rooted and I want to update it to kitkat can I flash castm rom with flash stock rom 4.4.2 ......?

Yes you can flash any custom rom on KitKay but of course you will need a custom recovery

I have Grand GT I9082 with ver 4.1.2. i have rooted the device with CWM.
Now i want to flash it with custom rom. Can i flash it with 4.2.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2196558)(GENNXT ROM)
I am new to anroid devices, so please help. Can i flash from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2
in the above Custom firmware GENNEXT he has stated "HAVE TO BE ON LEAKED OR OFFICIAL 4.2.2 TO USE THIS ROM ,BASE SHOULD BE 4.2.2" thats y i am bit confused.

That means u have u to flash LEAKED or OFFICIAL(SER-RUSSIAN) 4.2.2 first with odin...after that flash cwm and then u can flash GENNXT 4.2.2 on ur device...In short u can't flash directly GENNXT 4.2.2 over the 4.1.2...

you can install any 4.3 rom you would like, as long as it is for your device.
Just curious if it possible to downgrade from an nae ROM to say an mk2 ROM. I'm currently running slim kat and want to try some different 4.3 based ROMs. Thanks...

Ok so i updated my s4 but its on 4.4.4 and i want to install 5.0 lollipop rom but how do i do it if all the ways to do it is patched i think is there any way too install the rom on 4.4.4

If I understand you, you want to install a lollipop custom rom. Afaik, there are no lollipop roms available for safestrap. And that's the only recovery you can use if you're on 4.4.4

Yep once you upgraded from Jelly Bean to Kit Kat that killed Custom Roms. Kit Kat has Locked Bootloader

As question implies can I upgrade to lollipop custom rom directly from stock 4.4.2 kitkat rom ? For some reason I cannot upgrade to stock lollipop rom . Please reply if you've tried before .
